I’ve been playing since day one, from the lows to the absolute peak. Cause even at its worst I saw an amazing game under there.
That being said I have no idea what Pacifica looked like before dog town. I just always remember it being there even though it wasn’t, just shows how amazing they are at map design.
Listen up, samurai. If you’ve had enough of scrolling through the same tired threads and wanna plug into something real, jack into the official Discord. We’ve got games, serious talks and casual chats about Cyberpunk 2077, and a few rooms where you can just shoot the breeze with people who get it. You in, or you just gonna stand there looking chrome?

It looked the same... They just filled in the blank space for Dogtown
Yeah, and there is literally one gate that you have to pass to get to dogtown. It's fairly easy to disting what came with phantom liberty
It didn’t, a lot of the skyline is different, black sapphire for example was never there, and I think the stadium was different too.
Question was about the map... The stadium is inn the same place. Being able to see some of the skyline from outside, in Pacifica, doesn't matter. The map is the same as it was they just used what was a blank spot inside. Everything inside Dogtown aside from the stadium cuz it was on the map previous is new, they just didn't change really. Just added.
I assumed he was talking about how the map looked in game, not the actual top down map from the menu.
Could be that too... But only Dogtown would be different... But since we couldn't go in there, technically, only modded might have seen what it looked like in there. Although, the stadium does look a bit more, destructed...
The Luxor spa was added in too
Same I have no recollection of what the entrance to Dogtown used to look like before Phantom Liberty
There wasn’t a crowd of weirdos near that underpass where you run into the cab thing. That’s about it. The rest of the map was just a place you couldn’t go
"Hey cantcha see me?"
SirMZK made an excellent video exploring pre-2.0 Dogtown area.

Dog town used to be sand or Some shit. I remember getting onto of a building. If you fell you’d die.
I was thinking the exact same thing. I can’t remember how the stadium looked. In some cutscenes when they do briefing you can see the old map without Dogtown and immediately I feel nostalgic
It's crazy how well they integrated Phantom Liberty into the main game. It doesn't feel grafted on like DLC tends to.
I remember when I first got the game driving around the stadium and being like okay how do I get in there and then realizing it wasn’t possible
Yeah, same. I wonder the entire time, if it had been there already, but then I guess, no, because I'd surely would've picked up fights with those border defense folks any time.
Just finished Phantom Liberty today and it's a masterpiece. I betrayed So Mi this time.
Nice! So, uh, how'd you get on with that 'totally harmless and not scary' construction robot? :p
Pissed me off tbh. Bullshit and not fun. Didn’t take my time reading lore because of the “it’s getting closer” clunking.
Welcome to the club, choom! :D
Almost everyone feels that way about their first encounter with that fkn thing lol
Funny thing is tho, and yer gonna kick yerself about this, but it's actually piss easy to evade it.
Never shoot at it, always crouch walk (give yerself the ninja perks for faster crouch walking), and just keep circling around its blind spot to avoid it.
Even something as small as a chair or a counter can help you avoid its line of sight most of the time!
What did ya think of the ending and the rewards btw?
There were a bunch of big hotels east of the beach but you could go in them.
Appreciate it more now that the Stalker 2 update 1.8 new content turned out to be a lower level in the old mine.
Apparently the airport was quite different but you couldn’t get there anyway
I think this is more because the entire area was just inaccessible and already sectioned off from the rest of the map.
It looked exactly as it does now without the entry point to phantom liberty.
I remember. It was filled with a whole lot of nothing. I glitched in there a few times to explore. I even have a few screens from before the dlc came out showing the glitched pre dlc version of the city after the 2.0 patch.
