I can't go home and be with my family for the holidays because of chronic illness and disability/mobility. I've been pushing myself this week to get everything ready to deliver in time or to send to them today, lots of hurdles with shipping, etc. This made it all better.
I'm just having existential dread and a nervous breakdown over a birthday party for a 13 year old tomorrow. I'm not emotionally ready to have that many teenagers in my house at once! My floors!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭

Same, and I thought she was social and outgoing enough to enjoy it. I never subjected another one of my furry family members to that. The cat distribution system tends to give me a former ferals that are nervous and need extra love. Santa would be too scary.
Dear Santa, please give me 20 pounds of steak, medium rare; 5 pounds of French fries cooked in lard; 4 pounds of sweet slaw; two gallons of decaf coca cola; and six boxes of holiday jingles cookies.
