There's always been an issue with many people not applying any flair to their post, even when a relevant flair is applicable, for a very long time now. This hasn't been such a big deal over the years, but as the community has grown, there has also been a growing need for users to filter content, and our flair options have recently been expanded in order to better accommodate this need. However, the flair simply has no purpose when it's not enforced, and I am finding myself needing to manually apply it to other posts very frequently. In order to save myself some work and keep things running more smoothly, I have gone ahead and made flair required for all submissions going forward.

I have introduced more flair to cover situations that weren't covered even after the last update and would appreciate it if you looked over the updated flair guidelines to familiarize yourself. Among them is also a new meta flair for text posts and an "other" flair that can be applied to *any* type of submission that doesn't fit the others. More flair can be added if a need is identified and I welcome any suggestions in the comments.

Among the new flairs introduced are two that aren't listed on the guide and won't show up when you create your own submissions because they're exclusive to moderator use. One is only for the Roleplay Megathread and I've already gone ahead and applied it to the current megathread. Automod will apply it to all future megathreads going forward it will become easy to revisit the previous megathreads, should anyone feel the need to. The other is an Announcement flair that has been applied to this post.
