I just wanted to share this achievement. I stopped playing CS back in 1.6, didn’t play a single map in CS:GO, so it’s been almost 15 years without touching CS. Some friends started playing CS2 again and invited me, and I got completely addicted. I spent a lot of time studying the game, training aim, utilities, and everything else because I basically started playing again with only the little I remembered from 1.6. I didn’t think I’d be able to reach 20k this season since matchmaking placed me at 5k, but I did it! Premier really is a jungle, but there aren’t as many cheaters as people say. There’s definitely a lobby of low-integrity accounts where the chance of facing cheaters is very high, and another lobby with medium and high-integrity players where the chance drops drastically. That’s why people’s experiences vary so much. But I do think it’s possible to grind Premier fairly. Now the grind continues on Faceit, because I don’t think I’ll reach 25k before the season ends.
gratz mate, i also stopped playing after 1.6 and thought id crush cs2 cause i was pretty good at 1.6
800hrs later and im still stuck at 5k. i think i wasnt as good as i thought i was lol
keep playing mate, dont go into matches without warm up, try to warm up and practice as much as you can even if youre not going to play premier, the improvements will eventually come! Also always go for duos or stacks cuz playing solo sucks if you dont have the skill to carry the entire game.
Congrats man! Premier is really a test on for trust in probability. You gotta trust that you’ll win more than you’ll lose. There’s a lot of faceit 10 smurfs 20k and up which is really annoying but if you keep playing you’ll get to 25k for sure
The thing is, you don't even need to win more that you lose to rank up.
Just bring full stack with low ranks (like 2-3-4k), you will get -100 for lose and +500 for win
Low ranks just need to rage cheat 1 out of 5 games and just have fun and lose in other 4.
A lot of people abuses this in premier right now
it does not work like this, you know.... You can get games like this playing solo and also get the opposite playing 5 stack, like a game where you loose -500 and only get +100 and this happens a lot if you stack with low elo players. The thing is if you keep playing and keep getting better you will eventually win more than you loose, the amount of games depends on your level of progress as a player. The system rewards and punishes for wins streaks and loose streaks. You can only get to a game where you get +500 points if youre in a win streak
