Lmao, I was thinking the same thing as there is no way to "CAMP" in FFA DM as you spawn in front of a different player each time.... That's what pisses me off w/ Valve that I cant even play a simple MODE LIKE TEAM DEATHMATCH(I always played it in CSGO for the exact reasons of FFA being terrible)
When you spawn in DM you have like 10 seconds of invulnerability to damage unless you move or shoot. Some rats wait out the timer until they see someone, so they automatically get the first shot off and a huge advantage.
Although its usually only bad players that do this so you can still kill them half the time anyway.
The XM is pretty OP as whenever I use it in DM just to have fun, it triggers other players the same way it triggers noobs who die to an AWP in DM... If I switch to a Scout and HS them, they still complain... I can never win
Pink is possible, it just requires insane amounts of hours/grinding. Red is impossible without ~40 level-up operation passes. Red is possible with 24/7 botting, but Valve actually bans the red medal bots.
Edit: It turns out red is possible but the guy who did it farmed for 10 hours a day and was trying to farm the Armory since it paid more than his work.
I saw a video where some guy from Iran got the red 2025 service medal without botting apparently, tbf he said he was playing 10h a day to farm drops as income
I got my first color last month I think it’s just gold no accent color. I wish they had a menu on the game where you could look at page of rankings, etc all the levels that would be really cool.
If you get something in game that amounts to a lot of grind in game time most people assume that either they are unemployed or do not touch grass or xyz but what they do not realize is that some people like to just play a single game whenever they boot up their system or they just play better and manage their grind better even if they play couple of games mixed , so it's not crazy in that sense at all and it's totally normal.

You get 11000xp each week after which it gets insanely impossible because of reduced xp so get your normal xp also do every week mission xp . DM is the popular mode to grind but I dislike DM so I mostly play my normal game mode that I play i.e Premier . You can play DM or Comp.

When you get level 40 you either stay that way or claim the service medal and grind for levels again to either upgrade it or claim your weekly drops if you have prime that is. IMO you should always claim service medals as they never come back since it's a yearly thing
Think of it as a souvenir or a badge that you can have on your profile. Being forever level 40 isn't gonna do anything either so why not claim those rare coins and have a profile that shows you have been playing for some time

Reloading and not healing on kills sucks in valve dm. As well as the low skill average. I just reinforce bad habits in valve dm.
