There's a lot the creatives could do! The choice of focal length, framing and post-production editing are all design choices. The sharpness/clarity sliders were definitely pumped all the way up to make them look ghoulish.

The color doesn’t match her skin tone, the skin is clearly very dry and in need of exfoliation, and the makeup is separating, all of which are aging her. The outdated style of makeup (orange nose) also ages her.
I don't disagree with you, but what I'm asking is: what's wrong with a woman not looking (what we personally define as) "youthful"? If we make fun of her for looking a certain way because she's our enemy, we are bolstering misogynistic attitudes and unintentionally insulting our allies who might also look like her.

They couple that with the anti trans mentality where they act like any body modification is an affront to their god and is unnatural, pushing the narrative that natural beauty is superior, etc. They draw attention to it like it’s this super important thing, only to Frankenstein their bodies into these unnatural looking plastic filled faces, completely oblivious to the fact that by their own definition, they are getting unnecessary gender affirming surgery.
In short, I think it’s fair to criticize because they are the ones making a big deal about it in the first place. If they’re trying want to put a spotlight on how people look, let there be a spotlight.
