My favorite thing about these is that Wayne, Marasi, Melaan, and pretty much everyone get retweets and likes in the hundreds, and Wax usually has them in single digits or very very low double digits.
I did put a lot of thought into how each of them used the Internet and social media when I was starting:
-Wayne and Wit are basically online celebrities à la Dril, and get tons of likes and attention
-Marasi has a smaller following but semi-frequently pops off with tweets that go viral
-Steris has a small but immensely dedicated group of followers who like and share everything she posts, which is mostly long chains explaining things in great detail. She’s basically the equivalent of a well respected YouTube essayist like HBomberguy.
-Wax has absolutely no following except Steris, who likes everything he posts, however he does get more attention if his tweets ever mention Steris or Wayne.

Why though? Isn't he basically a minor celebrity in-world?
This makes me consider genuinely making a cosmere horoscope escque deal based on the 16 metals or the 10 radiant order months.... should I? For funsies?
How would the calendar system work? Would it be a normal year split in to 10 or 16, or go by normal months and then just have years spill into the next real year? Or would this be an even more detailed thing and calculated the way we do with other planets and convert between Rosharan days/years and Earth days/years?
I'm interested in seeing this happen because I want to know how the date system will work.
To Steris, maybe, but Marasi made it pretty clear she was not treated well by him. Obviously, in the list of “bad cosmere dads” he’s nowhere near the top, but I doubt Marasi would have much forgiveness for him, unless there was some reconciliation and apology offscreen that we never saw.
I’d have to reread. I got the impression that outside of not formally recognizing her until adulthood, he was otherwise very good to her. Guess I better do a reread.
There was also a mention that he found her misting ability shameful and wanted her to hide it. Early in the first book, he also pretty frequently shuts her down whenever she tries to talk about things he feels aren’t “appropriate” for a young lady.

While your second point in true, this part is more about him not wanting Marasi to seem a better "catch" than the unmarried Steris, and Marasi having an allomantic power, even a seemingly useless one, would push her in that direction.
Prioritizing one child over the other is definitely still bad parenting.
I’m also not sure about that interpretation? Marasi says he straight up called it useless and shameful and told her to hide it, which seems to be a not-uncommon belief. Maybe he had ulterior motives, but the most straightforward explanation is that he genuinely believed it. I doubt he’d be subtle enough to not just tell her he didn’t want her outshining Sterris.

I need to know the reasoning for Tensoon. Part of me wants to make his following massive and he despises it.
Why though? Isn't he basically a minor celebrity in-world?
Look at their @. Wayne is @realwaxladrian
And they're all Steris
“You ever meet a carriage driver and it’s so obvious no one in his life has ever told him to shut the fuck up.” This is actually killing me
It's so damn good. Hoid does need to be told to stfu more often though.
I think that might just encourage him
That's exactly the problem
Then say it again. At least it would amuse him.
I’m certain he’s been told to shut up more than any other phrase he’s heard in his long long life
yeah that got me too
Steris would know its hanged not hung, but all very accurate lol
But would Steris know if Wayne actually knew what was correct?
Agreed
I only regret that we cannot give upvotes individually to each “Tweet.”
(And guns) got me good.
See, the first one is unbelievable because you can't convince me Steris doesn't know the difference between hanged and hung.
Though, I can see why she'd assume Wayne doesn't.
She would have corrected him in a following sentence in a very Steris like response. And we would have loved it.
"Deranged Combat"
You are a genius. Take my upvote.
Best detail is wax being RealWaxLadrian1 and Wayne being RealWaxLadrian
Wayne studying swordplay from al'Lan Mandragoran
Spookatouielle had me rolling.
I very much appreciate that Wayne is realwaxladrian forcing wax to put the 1 at the end of the
When I saw this, I started to cry from laughing.
I laughed so hard. This was so well done
What gets me is that I, like Steris, am autistic, and I absolutely would’ve answered that the same way.
What are you talking about, Steris isn't autistic, she's just right all the time
A true gift. Thank you for these glorious additions.
MeLaan and Wayne are so fit for each other lol

Well, if you'd like to help out.. we can make it as complicated as we want to :)
Yes
Roshar (at least the Vorin parts) already has its own horoscopes with the 10 essences
It has? Where can. I find more info?
The Ars Arcanum for WoK or ROW should have it.
8 is basically Shallan's whole marriage. And also the reason she didn't pick Kaladin.
Me too, Wayne, me too.
No I will not specify which Wayne line I'm referring to.
I think I know
He's not wrong, though
.... I'm iron
8 is too real.
technically, the Survivors neck was broken from the slap.
I was able to correct Steris, yay
Thank you for this wonderful gift
These are the best part of Reddit, like the voice of (a) god in my pierced ear
People are constantly telling Hoid to shut up. That's like half of what people say to Hoid.
My birth month no longer exists is great.
You are a true hero, these are great.
Best one yet this one is so good
The very first one had me smiling cause that was my response to the question too
Steris's tweet reminds me of Captian Holt's texts.
Ranged and deranged combat is my favorite
Wayne continues to be my spirit animal in these, big fan
Ranged and Deranged was masterful
I require more of MeLaan and Wayne being horny at each other online.
These are too good
Wayne is deranged in the best way.
Great meme, Gon! You have pleased the mighty Lopen 13 times with your posts!
Why throw the shade at Lord Harms? He had flaws but was overall a loving and supportive father.

Yes, but she'd also assume Wayne doesn't.
Number 5… rust and ruin wax!
i never thought id see a one off joke i made on tumblr years ago recreated like this 😂😂
I don’t get the first one :/
Wayne was using a a term that refers to size of a particular anatomical feature. Steris thinks he asking how the Survivor was executed.
Hope this helps.
Oh. Ooohhh. Yep. That helps.
Why did Melaan sounds racist in this very particular American way???
