I plan to 3d print the sword shown above in a Bambu A1 mini however I'm just unsure what an appropriate filament would be. It won't be put under impacts as it's just for decoration but I would like it to have some form of sturdiness. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks♥️

PETG is a 100 times easier to sand. It doesn’t always print as nice but if you’re wanting to sand and post process this PETG is the way to go.

This geometry is going to be pretty challenging to print regardless of printer, but on the A1 mini you really need to stick to PLA or PETG filament. If you want something that will look metallic with minimal post processing, avoid silk PLA for this and go for either bambu PLA metal or tinmorry metallic PETG.

For stuff that you want to be on the stronger side, and so that it doesn't go all floppy if you forget it in a hot car, I would go with PETG for this one. PLA would work too, it just won't be quite as temperature resistant.
Ideally ASA, but that's not possible on a A1.
Definitely avoid PLA for any props since it breaks quite easily and more importantly has very very low heat resistance. Leaving it in the sun for half an hour is enough to ruin a sword.
Either PETG or PCTG, the later is pretty much the improved version in every way but is slightly more expensive.
And don't forget: Walls are way more important for strength than infill!
As someone who prints swords on my a1 mini You're gonna have a hard time with this one
For the spirals I recommend adding holes for wood pegs between slices, you'll probably need to do it in cad software. You can add a dovetail in bambu slicer but it will look funky. That's just what I would do, good luck...
What would be difficult about it? If its the amount of parts can handle that, if its something to do with the actual printing method that im not too sure about that. I was planning on just winging and praying.
It's going to be a lot of welding/gluing each separate piece of the spiral together. Also if you want a defined look like the in game model you might want to paint it too.

Another vote for PETG. It's slightly flexible so it won't break as easily if you drop or bump it too hard.
Go PCTG. Its PETG on steroids.
Props get dropped and knocked around. The last thing you want is to get to a con and you have a chunk missing on your sword. PLA will break. PCTG less so.
