Apparently they treat employees pretty bad. Lots of reviews online. Hiring and firing full time. Not surprised if they struggle to get lads to drive the vans going by the reviews.
Interesting we dropped to them Monday and 2 parcels still not delivered. They are normally next day - I reckon no one was allowed holidays in Nov and Dec and they are understaffed
DPD has been unusually slow, and the lack of clear communication is frustrating. I think a lot of people are running into delays, not just isolated cases, so it might be systemic.
Yes, we use DPD for shipping and had yesterday’s collection skipped. First time in 5 years this has happened. We also see a delay of 1-2 days. Weather and volume. Should be back to normal next week.
There was a delay in my order being collected from the retailer but that was more than likely the retailer's fault (playing catch up after a long Christmas break). Once Dpd had the parcel, delivery was extremely fast.
I got my package 15 entire days after DPD got their hands on it. 10 emails and one threat of legal action later I got the delivery, it looked like it had been ravaged by a pack of wild dogs and then taped back together.
None from my end anyway. Had a 1 day delivery from Dublin earlier this week.
Was speaking to a driver this week, Little island depot is nearly full to ceiling with parcels and not enough vans to take them.

I had a 2 day delay on packages this week but to be fair, I think the icy weather on Monday & Tuesday played into it.

Nope, did a Next delivery last Sunday, part one arrived Wednesday and second part is arriving this evening, literally just got the text!
