If you can please tune into Any Given Day on RTÉ, or on the Player.

It’s a beautiful, heart warming and heart breaking look at the work the amazing staff of CUH/CUMH go through every single day.

It’s a privilege to have these people from all over the world looking after us in Cork. I’m so grateful to work in the hospital (in a very small capacity) and support them however I can.

  • It’s both uplifting but also difficult watching. Mad to think what’s going on everyday. HSE staff really are wonders

It’s always someone’s first day, someone’s last, and they are there for you through all of it

  • I was an oncology patient at CUH and I’m so glad everyone gets to see how amazing everyone is at that hospital.

I wholeheartedly agree. I was in the Dunmanway unit while my wife was next door in CUMH. The staff are amazing

100%. We spent years of our lives in oncology with some great staff.

The teams are under extreme pressure every day and still show compassion, help everyone they can and somehow keep it all together. Legends.

  • Makes me proud to say that I work there (and mostly hid from the cameras)

  • Barry is gas

An amazing attitude and support from loved ones can get you through a lot ❤️

  • Beautiful programme, reminding us again of the angels who work in our hospitals and care for us at the very hardest of moments.

  • I was in an isolation ward there for a few months. I still hand in chocolates at christmas for them. Hadn't seen one nurse in an age until a few weeks ago. She stopped dead when she saw me - even with a full head of hair and mask on - opened her arms and just hugged me.

That is amazing, you are obviously worthy of the hug! 🙏

Ive had moments where I've come in for checks or treatment late in the evening. Ive grown my hair, I'm not in pjs, and I've had Doctor and nurses (who i used to see daily in the months of isolation) I havent seen in ages, shout "Oh hello!" from a distance. They remember me even with all those changes. It always gets me right in the heart.

  • Lovely show, I really liked the doc they did in the maternity ward a few years ago (?)

    Born too soon! Amazing series

  • Had my baby boy in CUMH back in June. Cant thank the staff there enough, such kind people! And very helpful and supportive through my labour and delivery. I was an emotional wreck 😂 and one of the nurses held my hand at one point because I was in agony in the middle of the night, and she stayed with me for a while and that made me feel so at ease!

  • My partner delivered our two kids there, the staff are so supportive and honestly those student nurses we had were beyond kind and caring!
