One doesn’t just wake up with strangulation marks… one might’ve been woken up whilst being strangled; but, we don’t just wake up tomorrow and realize someone tried to strangle us.
Maybe he tried to kill himself previously and failed, hence his comment “I’m a coward” and was too ashamed to hold his hands up and say “yep, I tried to do myself in. And failed to boot!”
Doesn’t mean he was choked by a second person. Consider that.
His former cellmate was a cop serial killer on roids in prison which is a sign. He tried strangling Epstein and was removed for it shortly before his “suicide”
Are SHU's generally noisy 24/7 to the point of waking someone up? What if he was being sent thoughts telling him to kill himself while sleeping and it only half worked, thus him constantly waking up and having marks.
Yeah but dead in the middle of the night? Don't places like this have the prisoners in strict schedules throughout the day? I can't imagine there would be people that loud and awake throughout the entire night knowing they have to wake up for breakfast because they wanted a rap session at 3 am. Maybe they can miss out on it but also can't see them doing that willingly. Not to mention I doubt the CO's would allow them to be disruptive during the night. Maybe I can understand CO's making noise doing things they normally can't do during the day and if someone is a light sleeper it wakes them up.
But more and more evidence is coming out and it seems like they're trying to shift a lot of blame on Epstein when for all we know he could've just been a pawn without nearly the capabilities people credit him with.
I binged prison shows a few years back. I recall that in many prisons, people will make noise kicking their doors, screaming and so on all night. It's not lights out and everyone has a quiet 8hr sleep. In shu units people are segregated and lots of things are individual, and it's also where the worst people go(not just ethics but lost the plot kinda stuff). People can be a menace in there and there isn't much anyone can do about it, other prisoners or staff, they're already in the worst place and other inmates can't get to them.
They run a strict schedule yes, showers at a certain time and rec 2 or 3 times a week, but none of that is delayed if someone is acting a fool. It's standard operating procedure. Also meals are brought to the cell and given through the trap in the door, so you can be dead asleep but when that trap opens and falls into place it's gonna wake you up. The corrections officers all go sit in their office when they are done doing whatever. We call it a bubble, it has windows they can see out of but it dampens any sound. Plus they are watching TV or listening to music, chatting, eating. They don't care about some yelling or rapping. Door kicking is a big one too, can't believe I forgot that. If they wanted to they could try to get someone to stop, say they will get a ticket if they keep being disruptive, but inmates don't give a fuck generally. Also by extending their time in the hole it just extends the time said officers have to deal with the problem inmates, they aren't always looking to do that

He is clearly trying not to snitch on who ever attempted to murder him
Yeah, a "Look, don't kill me, I can shut up!"

With sedation it is possible.
Did you guys not know about his cellmate or why he was removed?
The cop who was a mob enforcer?
I read about this before but lately I read that he had no cell mate. Is that information being scrubbed or have I missed it?

Picture a bunch of dudes locked in cells with nothing to do except attempt conversation by shouting out the door or through a vent. Then add rapping
