This happened with some of the JFK files too. It's all bullshit. The files are gone, there is the drone video of the island before it got 'raided' a decade ago. It's all been done in the open

    parent root

Definitely not accidental. I believe they want us to say “we unredacted 900 pages and there wasn’t anything interesting there. Let’s forget about the rest of the files and move on to something else. This is boring.”

It's a portion of already available court documents from Giuffre v Maxwell. The document is also still redacted.

Our government is just a rotating cast of pedophiles and rapists basically.

    parent root
    45 points Narfman

So I see what people online are alleging what was "hidden" behind the redacted text. I took this 900pg file and threw it at AI to summarize. When asked specifically about Donald Trump it says this:

"Donald Trump is explicitly named 4 times in the documents. Two of these instances occur during deposition questioning, where a witness was asked if she had met or massaged "Donald Trump," to which she answered "No." The other two references appear in anecdotes: one recalling a diversion to Atlantic City where the group visited "one of Trump's casinos," and another where Jeffrey Epstein is quoted saying, "Great, we'll call up Trump" and visit his casino. In terms of allusions or indirect references, his property Mar-a-Lago is mentioned 13 times. These references primarily focus on it being the location where Virginia Giuffre was employed as a spa attendant and where she was allegedly recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell. Unlike some other figures in the files, there are no allegations in these documents that Trump participated in any sexual misconduct or trafficking."

AI cannot find any of the allegations I am seeing online. My question is has anyone actually verified what people are saying is in these files is actually in these files? Can you provide the exact file to download from the DOJ site to then do the copy/paste trick to see first hand what's behind the redactions?

    parent root
    77 points EdwinQFoolhardy

AI is an option, but you probably could have saved a few seconds with Ctrl+F.

    parent root
    -35 points Narfman

I am not disagreeing that that would work but that doesn't provide context. AI provides context.

    parent root
    40 points EdwinQFoolhardy

    Perhaps.

But Ctrl+F provides the opportunity to look around and realize this is just a portion of the court documents for Giuffre v. Maxwell, which is already available on the FBI Epstein Library Site with the same redactions (it's the 1320 pdfs all stitched together, and as far as I can tell has the same redactions).

AI has a bad habit of inducing a bit of tunnel vision and keeping one from realizing that this isn't the document it was suggested to be.

    parent root
    -18 points Narfman

I 100% agree. But this one document's AI analysis says nothing like what I see on social media. This made me ask where are they all getting this from? If it's from one of the other files that are not included in this documents 900 pages, then where is it on the DOJ's website. What file do I need to download to see it firsthand?

    parent root
    -20 points Particular-Labz

In 2023, a federal jury found Donald Trump liable for the sexual abuse of writer E. Jean Carroll, though it did not find him liable for rape under the narrow definition in New York law at the time. However, the presiding judge later clarified that the jury's findings were consistent with the common understanding of the word "rape".

    Just notepad.

It's a vulnerability caused by not redacting the pdf properly, you don't need special software to make it work.

From what I've found so far, it doesn't work on anything that the FBI just redacted for this release. Some of the files were already publicly available with fucked up redactions, and it looks like they just re-uploaded those old documents with the vulnerable redactions.

Here's an archived version of the first document on his page. You can use the copy and paste trick on that one if you want to test it out.

Please keep in mind that there may be multiple reasons why this is possible:

    1. As mentioned earlier in this video, the people who edited these documents were not qualified for this task and therefore did not proceed in the correct manner.

    2. There may be people involved in this work who do not fully agree with the Trump administration and/or the redaction of these documents, and who therefore deliberately edited the documents incorrectly, making them fully readable to everyone.

    3. The documents may have been altered prior to redaction and then deliberately redacted incorrectly, resulting in a distorted or alternative representation of the truth.

The people saying 3 are funny to me. This administration has shown, time and time again that despite being evil, they are extremely incompetent. We keep thinking we are playing 4 Dimensional chess, when in reality this admin is playing tic tac toe. I have no idea what has this admin done to convince you they have any concept of long term planning, but when someone tells you who they are believe them

Secondly, of any other admin I would have agreed partially to this statement, including Trump 1.0. This administration however, not a fecking chance.

But finally, they are all incompetent. Once again, I have no idea what they have done in the last year to convince you other wise, but, from adding a journalist to a chat group to the former head of FEMA not knowing there was a hurricane season, these people are not very bright

The 2 most likely possibilities (IMO):

    1) That one or more persons tasked with the redactions intentionally made them decipherable (whistleblowers), or;

    2) That the entire release was intended, from the start, to be deciphered (false-flag limited hangout)

Option # 2 seems more likely to me.

But if the story of them pulling all nighters to get the redactions done is true, then they would've needed all the man power they could muster. Proper clearance or not, IMO.

The files (and other evidence yet unseen) have been in the possession of the DOJ and related agencies for years. They had plenty of time to sort through all, and to categorize based on specific criteria -- (threat posed via information exposed). Something like:

    A) Files marked as NEVER to be released

    B) Files to be released, but only after redactions

    C) Files that could be released with no redactions

The low level grunts doing the redacting would only have access to files in categories B and C, as they contain no information that might pose a significant threat to the Controllers. Indeed, some of these redaction leaks may have been planted intentionally so that the public would believe they were "seeing behind the curtain", when they were merely being hoodwinked yet again.

What are we seeing? Material that may cause embarrassment, sure (big deal!) Hell, we might even get to see a lower level scallywag or two thrown under the bus in the hope of satisfying the public blood lust that has been building for years, but no one of real importance will be touched.

As horrific as this whole sex trafficking/ blackmail scheme is (AND IT IS), it barely scratches the surface of what Jeffy E. and his handlers and associates have been up to in their grand scheme.

    10 points redundantpsu

From working with government employees and helping them with redactions (nothing related to this case), it's almost always because they are using a free version of Adobe or a 3rd party PDF editor... often times because they are taking work home and working after hours on a time sensitive request.

Usually not malice as much as incompetence when it comes to "boots on the ground" government employees.

    parent root
    2 points DogOnTheLeash

Government employees =/= fbi / intelligence lol

    parent root
    31 points Typhlo_32

I was telling a buddy of mine this exact thing. The fact that a pic and unredacted text referencing Donald Trump was available wasn't an accident. It was intentional that whoever did the reactions purposely left a handful of things unredacted. So 100 percent believable that "mistakes in redaction" wasnt a mistake.

    parent root
    10 points BetterDayTheory

it's so unrealistic to think the people who've done this for decades sending in documents for court approval would be so careless to leave these redactions available when none of the previous files have had this error

    parent root
    3 points darkkite

have these specific redactors been with the FBI for long or are they Patel hires who really liked his book

    parent root
    2 points BetterDayTheory

i guarantee the career fbi agents do not give a fuck what kash patel thinks

    parent root
    2 points QuarantineZone11643

    let's ask mulder and skully

    parent root
    6 points wicko77

Apparently it’s common. Legal teams can unredact files in cases where the redaction passwords have been lost etc. if you want it gone then you redact rescan and resave.

    parent root
    3 points redundantpsu

It's unrealistic to believe government employees, like everyone else, cut corners? They drug their feet on getting these files out and probably outsourced it to a bunch of employees who aren't normally handling redactions when the current staff got too overwhelmed.

    parent root
    -1 points BeatnixPotter

Wow that’s awesome. So what did they “fake redact?” I bet it’s juicy. Can you give me the tldr or a link to the bit you’re referencing?

    parent root
    1 points Inner_Importance8943

They wouldn’t do any of that. They would find you the same way they found Epstein “suicide”

    parent root
    0 points BeatnixPotter

    fired fbi agents for J6

Yeah because there were over 200 fbi agents at J6 who were causing problems.

I downloaded a bunch of the files just the other day and I can't seem to do this with any of them.

    parent
    22 points RussianBotPatrol

I was able to do it with a couple of them that I tried. But people were saying this method doesn't work on all of them

    parent root
    7 points FantasticFrontButt

I admit I only downloaded a bunch sorta willy-nilly. Can you link/share/name the pages of the ones you're able to do it with?

    parent root
    1 points RussianBotPatrol

I'm not at home anymore, but I'm pretty sure the ones I got it to work on are part of that big 900 page document. I don't think that's all of the Epstein files though, I think it specifically has to do with one case related to Epstein. I dunno though

    parent root
    1 points RUIN_NATION_

    Cause it isn't legit

    parent root
  • 5 points EdwinQFoolhardy

So, at least the first document on the linked page comes from Government of the United States Virgin Islands v. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (1:22-cv-10904).

This document, while included in the Epstein library, has been publicly available since at least 2023 archived version of CourtListener showing this document available on June 7, 2023. The .pdf file in 2023 was also vulnerable to just copy and pasting to get around the redaction.

Make of that what you will.

    parent
    2 points Think-State30

So the DOJ is releasing these particular files with the faulty redactions because thats literally how they received them.

    parent root
  • 10 points spice_war

And what did we get for it? While every know-nothing know-it-all argues about myopic gobbledygook online, the perpetrators continue to walk free. I’d bet a pinky the operation didn’t stop for a single day since Jeff was arrested.

    parent
  • 1 points inevergreene

It’s a bit reductive to just slap the incompetent label on Trump’s administration, as many of them want you to believe they’re just stupid, to hide their calculated plots. Some of these may have been intentionally altered and intentionally poorly redacted - you might just be playing into it.

So now they make Trump pay for all of his failures. You can’t tank billions and not pay the piper. This is a shit show and once again no one will be brought to justice on 9/11 or all the shit we have done in the Middle East. I am not downplaying what went on that island. But Millions of people have been MURDERED and you are all talking about out who the president was fucking literally.

So why are most of the topics relating to the subject focusing only on Trump?

And whenever there is talk that a Democrat could be involved, the rebuttal is always "But Trump".

    parent root
    2 points EdTheApe

No it's not. The rebuttal is 90% "hang them with the same rope". Trump is the president though, and if you don't understand why that's a problem I don't know what to say that'll get through to you.

I’ve been posting here for like 8 years and it’s by far more most visited sub. I’m literally on conspiracy daily.

I just think people remember the Trump shills or them Dem supporters because they stand out. Realistically I would say (other than bots) 70% if not more do not trust the government or hold a strong affiliation to either side.

Yes there are supporters of both on here, but I really don’t think they make up the majority. They are just the loud, annoying ones.
