That's kind of a genius ad tho.

    Came here to say this.

    Not confusing, more like r/designporn

    parent
    97 points AmusingMusing7

It's confusing because it looks like it's on a wall at first, but it's actually the floor. Takes noticing the escalator to see it's actually looking down from above. And until you realize it's the floor, the people look like huge fake bugs on the ad or something.

    11 points InevitableRhubarb232

    Does it?

    parent root
    31 points sam-tastic00

the first time i saw it I thought it was a wall. so yeah.

    parent root
    2 points fothergillfuckup

Me too. It took a moment to recognise an escalator from above.

    parent root
    6 points AmusingMusing7

    Yes.

    parent root
    -23 points Subject-Coast-7934

I think you might be a little slow. I instantly knew this was a floor.

This is so much better than that billboard that actually used glue to catch hundreds of harmless outdoor insects just to promote a bug spray.

Good edit for the nitpickers: less bug-harmful marketing, love to see it.

    parent
    -2 points notrororo

It's not eco friendly marketing. That's a lot of plastic and a lot of paint.

    parent root
    6 points Serious-Bat-4880

Oh fcol, compared to an outdoor billboard covered in glue, yes it is.

There's always gotta be one. 🙄

This is top tier advertising right here

    parent
    14 points LeftOn4ya

More like bottom tier advertising, am I right?

    parent root
  • 30 points Upbeat_Cry_3902

    Is that the floor?

    parent
    13 points Jet-Let4606

    Yep.

    parent root
    13 points Upbeat_Cry_3902

    That’s clever

    parent root
    3 points whingingcackle

Looks like a piece of chicken. Even though it says dog, I had to look at it for like 30 seconds.

Dog, fried chicken, dog, fried chicken,

dog, fried chicken, dog, fried chicken,

fried chicken, dog, fried chicken, dog,

fried chicken, dog, fried chicken, dog.

I feel like I just typed in a new variant of the Chicken programming language (yes, it exists).

    11 points Dabtastic4000

Those look flys not people. It fits the ad

    parent root
    9 points AmusingMusing7

I think the main confusing perspective is that it looks like a wall at first, but it's actually the floor.

    parent root
    1 points DrDroid

It looks exactly like what it is - a clever floor ad.
