It took me a while to understand the pic, but yeah, it goes so hard
Looks like one of those rock album covers that even if you don't know a thing about the band, you'll buy in the blink of an eye because you just know it will be so fucking good
There’s pretty much always commenters who say “what’s confusing about that?” And ngl. I kinda wonder how many of them just happen to see it right away and how many people just wanna look smart lol. Like, “how can you peons not see it? It’s so easy for me to get it!” Because I definitely think this fits the sub. One does not expect a shopping cart to be half frozen in the lake and the addition of the bird makes it look like a foggy sky.
Although, I’ll concede that for at least some it may just be the way their brain is wired. I consider myself more creative and artistic (vs. practical and scientific) and so my brain tried to work out the story and context. Like others said, it looked like an ethereal dream sequence.
I love this. At first I thought maybe it was a stage for a concert in the fog and the bird is nearby, but then I couldn’t figure out why the soft and hard contrast between the foreground and background for the structure. Then I realize it’s a cart in water lol

Not quite sure what it’s about. I didn’t look at the blurb.
Never mind… “This book is an appeal to think clearly for yourself in order to regain a sense of responsibility for taking care of humanity and the world; and it offers a set of suggestions for doing so. The book uses the theme of abandoned shopping carts as a graphic symbol of uncaring relinquishment of responsibility in many areas of life, such as littering, driving rudely, and not voting in elections. “
So initially the bird made me think it was an old aerial photo of a bombed city or something. Yes it's a submerged shopping trolley, on its side. The bird is a reflection on the surface of the water.

i love everything about this picture
Agreed. That's a great photo
It’s an even better ptoho.
Longer you look, more it reveals. Wonderful shot!
So true! And that “drawing in” is part of its beauty
In the water I spotted a cart. Which had managed to not come apart. Just above flew a bird, With its timing absurd. Now who's to say what isn't art?
Looks like a sick album cover
Can totally see this on a Cigarettes After Sex album
For real. Somehow this picture makes me feel calm and anxios at the same time
yeès
Interesting ptoho.

One ptoho, two ptohoes, three ptohoes, four.
One ghoughphtheightteeau, two ghoughphtheightteeau, three ghoughphtheightteeau, four.
Yea….but it is also an interesting photo….
This is not really confusing to me but god damn, this image goes unbelievably hard
I couldn't figure out what I was looking at for a good 5 or 6 seconds. I had my scale way off.
What is it?
Shopping cart on its side, mostly under the ice. The basket part is away from the camera towards the top of the photo under the ice.
It took me a while to understand the pic, but yeah, it goes so hard

Submechanophobia leaking?

I guess the boys got Bubbles that camera he wanted.
That's a 7300 series from the mid 70s, it's a classic! Look, all hand welded, hasn't even been in there that long. Decent
I see the submerged shopping cart. Bird figure doesn't look right.
I think it's a reflection on the water surface
It is. Op from the original post confirmed
Kind of reminds me of Scary Stories to tell in the dark.
I just got that book after YEARS of The Green Ribbon haunting my memory lol
Just don’t lose your head.
Shit hawks
Is this, including the bird, a mural?
Am I looking at 2 shopping trolleys?
You're looking at one shopping trolley, on its side underwater. The bird is a reflection on the water surface.
Dang
Thank you.
Calling a shopping cart a trolley, NEAT!
Not my first language. We call it troli here.
It took a few seconds, but finally figuring it out made the photo itself all that much better.
whats confusing about this? its a half-submerged trolley. Great photo though especially the bird reflection
It took me a few seconds to notice that. And my brain went a few strange places
Same. My initial impression was it was somehow a tool for scribing lines onto ice, then I registered the underwater portions.

It looked too flat for a while for me. I couldn’t see any depth
Trust me, for some of us, it's unimaginably confusing
Lovely photo, I posted a shopping cart photo in here a few years ago.
Death of Capitalism
if only
This is super dope
Perfect.
Could be a album cover.

Cart’s in the lake Bubbs
I have no idea what this is
just Glasgow
This is the greatest photo I've seen in this sub.
😍
Damn that’s cool as hell
I. Love. This. Great job!
This shopping cart (or possibly another) has been in this sub before in a much more confusing image.
r/TrolliesGoneWild
This really had me for a few minutes
I remember seeing this picture before but I don't remember it being in what looks like grayscale. Is it edited?
Maybe I'm going crazy with my old age.
At first I thought maybe it was some ice tool used to cut perfect large circles.
Litteraly nothing confusing here though.
I like it. Shopping cart in water reflecting a bird it’s sweet
It’s a grocery cart, on its side, frozen in what appears to be a small body of water.
Thought it was a football stadium for a second, very good ptoho
It took me a minute to understand this. But this is reaaly a great photo!!

I don't understand what I'm looking at
Beautiful
What's so confusing about this photo anyways??
*Me after inspecting it very closely for about 60 seconds *

Wow. That took me a very long time to figure out. Looks like a great album cover.
The greatest noise album cover art

If this was a album cover, What genre of music would it be?
what 😭
At first I thought it was from the Hindenburg times. A failed plane or a photo of a broken building part with super I exposure.
Then I noticed the bird was a reflection, and it was a shopping cart in water. My reality broke.
There’s actually a book called “Stray Grocery Carts of North America”

Album cover
can you explain what's this? a cart under freezing water?
So initially the bird made me think it was an old aerial photo of a bombed city or something. Yes it's a submerged shopping trolley, on its side. The bird is a reflection on the surface of the water.
Not my photo but that's what I see.
What’s so interesting about a shopping cart flipped over in the snow and the reflection of a flying bird?
You’re the artist, I assume? Nicely done.
No. Not my work, I've linked the original post in my comments.
Not confusing, but cool af. Shame on you for stealing this person’s art though.
What are you talking about?
I said I'd found it elsewhere and even linked the original post in the comments to make it clear it's not my content.
Also, it confused me for 10 seconds.
K what about putting the link in the original description? It’s very easy for this to be Misattributed or reposted as if it was your own.
What about the title, spelling error aside, suggests this is my own content? "Found on..."?
Edit: I originally tried to cross post this and this sub doesn't allow that, so did what I thought was the next best thing.
Lol
