Is this who we are now? We take things we want through war?
How did we get this bad so quickly?
(cue MAGA saying: "you're naive if you think Obama didn't do the same damn thing when he took a French fry off Michelle's plate")

Remember how they claimed this a year ago? Trump said Harris would get us into a war and scared young men into thinking they were all gonna get drafted and die.
It was always a “checkmate libtards” move
Why are they putting the VP front and center of their 'peace' propaganda?
Didn't they try to kill their last one?
No that was just a rhetorical metaphor. They were actually in awe of his .... Something while going through Congress
I can’t believe we have to live with the pp ticket.
Look up the Argentine invasion in 1982. Economy failing, people pissed? Let’s start a war we can win! UK said no.
Trump raped children and needs a distraction.
It's who we've always been since the beginning of the 20th century. Read War is a Racket by Marine general Smedley Butler. The US is the world's biggest and meanest bully.

I agree, it should be a required book to read in highschool, we'd have a lot less bootlickers that way.
Agreed totally, but I usually understand (note, understand, not agree with) the logic of why… oil, capitalism, whatever.
I don’t understand this one. What is he after? We already effectively control the Venezuelan oil, it’s all extracted by US companies at this point. There’s not some mass wealth to assume by taking the country or a population ripe for buying loads of shit from US companies… what is the reason?
It all seems… not just evil (which is our historical thing), but capricious? or random? Or dementia-fueled?
Venezuela has been on our hitlist since 9/11 unfortunately. They are just an easier target than north Korea when seeking global control
Ok, but why? They pose no threat.. no nukes, No real ability to develop them, unlike North Korea, no real threatening language or Sabre rattling. I don’t get it.
Probably goes back to this
Trump is playing geopolitics just like his ol buddy Putin. Easy to google for understanding. Essentially, he has been trying to expand the land mass ownership of the US for about ten years now. Greenland, Mexico, Canada, Venezuela, and likely more countries we arent privy to knowing. What would make people remember him forever for besides being a world class asshole? Expanding the US territory. More places for bases, golf courses, trump towers. Maga will eat it all up, and claim it was all righteous. Pay no nevermind that he stopped 8 wars and counting! /s
O-I-L
E-P-S-T-E-I-N
This makes the most sense to me at this point… just a distraction with no other goal or meaning.
They are one of the few countries left without a central bank. It goes back to Korea i guess. Get on board with capitalism or get bombed.
North Korea has nukes, the only real deterrent for the USA. Plus, not much in the way of resources.
Oil, resources, not close enough for China and Russia to intervene...
he needs a boots-on-the-ground war so he can pretend he can suspend elections.
Zelenski gave him the idea, unfortunately doesn't apply with our constitution, but that's never stopped him before.
Everything Shitler does is to break the Constitution and Government. If you look at it like that it becomes clearer.
I've been wondering if maybe he's trying to pull a bibi netenyahu, keep starting conflicts and they think that would somehow result in Republicans not losing big in the midterms. But bibi has also literally completely lost it at this point and is just lashing out wildly to the point that even our current government scolded them and said they have to stop.
You forgot convenient (Epstein).
Venezuelan oil is extracted by PDVSA which is a state owned company, not a US based company.
PDVSA does own Citgo through a subsidiary.
The new regime cut contracts and land agreements for Prospera. A group that wants to build a private city for the billionare Elite. Most of our tech bros billionares heavily invested into it.
Distraction. In "wag the dog" the president molests a girl scout, and they make up a fake war to distract everyone. In "real life" Trump banged little girls with Epstein, and he wants to distract everyone.
Rubio wants to completely control the Americas, get rid of Chinese and Russian allied states, and use it as part of a strategy to permanently win Latino voters.
Venezuela first, then they go for Nicaragua and Ortega, and then Rubio wants his invasion of Cuba.
Go back a bit farther. This country was founded in genocide and broken treaties
See also: every other country that set out on becoming a world power, conquering countries around the would. Britain, France, Portugal, Belgium, Spain, German, Russia, Sweden, China, Japan, Turkey etc.
Not many presidents have gone to war so the world doesn’t find evidence they’re a pedo though
Second time just this century
Unfortunately, the ones who need to read it rather engage in burning books instead of reading them.
Also, they'll probably call Butler woke...
We've been the most powerful country in the world for a good while now. We're the biggest and meanest bully in the world literally just means we're the super power, currently. And we're the super power currently, just means we're the biggest and meanest bully. Peace wouldn't reign supreme if we stepped down. Someone else would just be the super power.
In the meantime, the US and the western world at large have certain modern principals thanks to the social progress we've enjoyed being drug kicking and screaming into by our most liberal agitators using their rights to speech and assembly and such. Certain modern principals very much not shared by Russia and China. However much our government might forsake these principals when it suits them in deep dark corners of the third world. Those principals are still there to some extent, and are still largely abided and promoted most of the time, and particularly in times and places or when and where the world is watching.
And power in the West being dominant and having a global military hegemony, is absolutely objectively better than any other viable alternative super power that will be taking the opportunity to avail themselves of that position should we ever lose it or even abandon it out of pure hippyism. If Russia was The Superpower of the world you would find your current definition of the biggest and meanest bully paling in comparison.
We are living through The Business Plot 2.0. We need another Smedley Butler. He saved American democracy.
Yep yep. It’s the way it’s always been. Some people are too young to remember
Anything to get your mind off the Epstein files
WW1 and WW2 showed the usa how to make money from war, and they never stopped.
Many Koreans and Vietnamese and Iranians and Afghans etc etc, we're born into the wrong country?
American bases? There's one near you.
The US regularly invaded or propped up South American coups from 1898 - 1934 took a break for the Depression and WWII and then resumed the ventures from 1954 - 1990 through corporations and the CIA.
Trump deserves a McDonalds six peace McNugget prize for his efforts.
This is on SCOTUS for making him a fucking king
Tbf SCOTUS couldn't stop him if they wanted to. Everyone is spineless, just greedy. Dumbass Pres just does what he wants even in the slightest time they rule against him.
He's like "well I'm doing it/ already did it, so what now?" Complete disregard for the Constitution and any semblance of checks and balances.
What a weasel move before Putin. Thank the TACO.
So while accepting the FIFA “peace medal,” Donny boy is plotting a war. Cognitive dissonance At its finest.
Venezuela has more crude oil reserves than Saudi Arabia, the most in the world. The MAGA's can say whatever they want about speedboats with drugs or 'Maduro bad,' but the REAL reason we intend to invade is because we are going to steal their oil.
I am old enough to remember when MAGA was calling Trump a man of peace as opposed to W who started wars for oil.
This means I more than 1.5 years old.
Calling out their hypocrisy means nothing to them.
Exactly this. It's all about Venezuela oil and trump is going to make a fortune off of it. It has zero to do with drugs or Maduro being a bad guy it's about trump seeing an opportunity to make money.
Yeah, he is a thief and a liar. He has been a con-man his whole life and he has never played by any sense of fair, ethical rules. Now he has the most powerful army in the world to help him steal stuff.
Notice they said trump is going to make a fortune, not, the US is going to make a fortune……
Edit: thanks for the anonymous award!
This is all about stealing as much as he can and enriching himself and his family too. He's been a crook his entire life.
That makes no sense. We import Venezuelan oil at one point without having to commit to an armed invasion (and despite the fact the oil needs to undergo processing using specific refinery for it to be usable) and the United States committed resources towards a partnership with its ally, Guyana, for an oil drilling operation off the coast (which Venezuela is interested in invading).
but if we invade and wreck the country we can put a government in power that will favor our economic interests.
'Crude oil reserves' means that the oil is still in the ground. It needs to be drilled and extracted. As the crazy MAGA's are fond of saying, "drill baby, drill." We are not "importing" it because it doesn't exist in reality yet, it exists in theory.
We import 4 million barrels of oil per day from Canada, our largest oil export nation. We import another 2 million barrels of oil per day from Saudi Arabia and OPEC nations. By contrast, we ONLY import about 200,000 barrels of oil per day from Venezuela. That is about 5% of what we get from Canada and less than 1% of our total.
We could increase that amount ten-fold, for decades. It makes a hell of a lot of sense.
You neglected to mention that the crude oil, when extracted, has to undergo processing (which in this case, Venezuelan oil is heavy by international standards and has to be processed using specific refineries). Saudi Arabia has not only proven oil reserves, but is of lighter crude, making it more cost-effective to produce and export. In addition, the sanctions and hyperinflation that's destroying the Venezuelan economy has had an impact on oil production, which means that we would have to alleviate the economic problems and address supply chain issues (their refineries face operational and technical issues, making them difficult to meet domestic oil demand) if we are going to jumpstart oil production in the country.
It is much better that we get our oil from Guyana and we are producing more domestic oil than at any point in our history given advances in drilling techniques.
Remember that all old US oil processing facilities can only process the type of crude oil which Venuezuela has loads of. Although they have plenty of their own oil in Texas, for example, they need the type of oil Venuezuela has in order to function. Former IMF Executive Director Paulo Nogueira Batista Jr. explains it in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXTmbNnXxs4
I didn’t know that. Interesting.
Tell me real quick, one country in the last 50 years that the US has stolen oil from.
It's a funny meme, not reality.
That's what everyone wants to believe. Just wait until Guyana really gets into oil production. They just passed Trinidad in oil production. This is why there is this struggle between Venezuela and Guyana over the Essequibo.
The Essequibo area in Guyana refers to a vast, resource-rich territory west of the Essequibo River, comprising about 60% of Guyana's land, famed for its dense rainforests, mineral wealth (oil, gold, bauxite, diamonds), and biodiversity, but also central to a long-standing territorial dispute with Venezuela, which claims it as Guayana Esequiba.
Sigh and all this shyte is in my back yard.
Aren't China and Russia Venezuela's allies
Lol if you think thats the reason. Its oil. Its always oil. Venezuela has the world's largest untapped reserve of heavy crude oil, which most US refineries are set up to refine.
Its really not that hard to understand. Most of our crude oil imports were/are from Canada. Currently, Trump hates Canada because they wont sick his balls, so hes trying to find another source of crude oil, Venezuela.
Chopper? Sic balls!
Yes, but then so is Trump
Yes sir
Kinda..but not really..enemies of enemies are friends thing.
Ones got their hands full at the moment, and the other can’t deploy troops to the otherside of the world
What a paradox. It reminds me of Russia eliminating Nazis from Ukraine while its president is a Jew. There’s no logic in autocracy
America needs its Lebensraum. Things got like this because we forgot the proper way to treat fascists in this country.
My grandpa knew. I feel ashamed to have done so little compared to him.
Trump wants to be feared. This is his 'Iraq' war. Total bullshit but, in the MAGA eyes, killing innocent ppl and stealing their shit is a symbol of strength and leadership.
Sick, sick ppl
Yes. Trump’s US is a terrorist organization. How did it get this way so fast? Are you fucking kidding? Moron Americans voted for him and moron Americans didn’t care enough to vote. Duh.
“No new wars”, immediately bombs Yemen, Iran, innocent fishermen and now this.
"Is this who we are now?"
Dude, I'm sorry to inform you, but MOST of our wars have been false flag operations for oil or regime changes. We have been bad guys for a long time, look at Vietnam or Afghanistan or Iran. The US has done multiple regime changes empowering authoritarians for years, this dude just says the quiet parts out loud.
I'm not sure Afghanistan was immoral. It turned out badly, was implemented poorly, and I wish we'd never done it, but Al-Qaida was literally an honored guest of the Taliban and they wouldn't extradite him, as he was a hero to them for his work against the Soviets when they were the enemy.
Fair enough, I'll take your point on how it started for those reasons. However it ultimately continued even after most of the Al-Qaida were out of the region around 2002 (according to chat GPT so take that with a grain of salt). My point still stands though, most of our wars since WW2 have been largely about resources and political power. Innocent people suffer throughout all wars and the US has been directly involved in that suffering behind closed doors for a long time. At least this idiot in office is being forthcoming about the reasons.
I'm Vietnamese American. America has always been this way. Vietnam involvement was initiated based on a complete lie by US military of a naval attack by a non-existent Vietnamese boat, almost too on the nose of a parallel.
And remember when the US invaded Afghanistan, failed whatever vague cover mission, then botched the withdrawal abandoning thousands of Afghans who helped us? That image of desperate Afghans clinging on to one of the last planes leaving, that is another direct parallel to the end of Vietnam.
Invading and destabilizing countries, all while riding our moral high horse, then leaving our "allies" behind in danger, oh and neglecting all our "hero" veterans while plastering them all over our military propaganda - that is the real US legacy.
*akin to USA in Iraq 2003
I thought we invading to take their drugs??
Who will come to their aid? This is beyond fucked. Just to steal their oil
Trumposlavakia
It's how the US has been for decades nothing has changed.
"Is this who we are now?"
Always has been.
It's unfortunate, and not without precedent, but you'd think we'd be better than this in the modern era.
I mean, at least try and sell me on an unjustified war like Republicans did back in the 2000s. We're not even trying.
News flash, the US has always used naked aggression to get what it wants. Just read 'War is a Racket" by General Smedly Butler.
So why was maga upset about it when "dems do it"
This is who we've always been. At least during the cold war we had the excuse if fighting communism when we invaded or overthrow democratically elected governments who wanted to socialize their natural resources instead of sell them off to American capitalist interests.
The US has never been the good guys.
I’m not for it but at least we won’t be raping, executing, and stealing toilets. Our military has standards.
I mean I'll believe it when I see it, there is no reason to invade when we can just continue to blow up drug boats, it's cheaper and looks better on paper
This is what the idle rich do when they get too rich. Tax them to bring them in line.
Bullies pick on small targets. They are too afraid to pick on the big ones like China, Russia or just add your favourite country.
War never changes
This is who we have always been. He have overthrown governments and killed innocent for banana rights. The CIA was created for this reason, to bend the will of another country to ours. The truth: We have never been the good guys.
Come on now. We are going to help spread democracy..... and steal oil/natural resources.
And all this from the Liar-in-Chief who claims to have ended multiple wars!
This fucking sucks. Look at all the losers who cheer for this. Fuck everyone cheering for war. Fuck the US
Argentina is being targeted because Russia and China are making diplomatic and economic overtures for alliance with Venezuela in violation of the Monroe Doctrine. We are fu**ing with Venezuela to signal Russia and China that they would be better off staying in their lanes away from the Americas.
I feel the Republican Congress should be ousted for dereliction of duty. They have the power to stop this but are too worried about keeping their jobs.
Not even a noble pretext ( when there easily could be). Just oil and oligarchs doing their thing.
Looks like a repeat of Iraq.

When did the elected leader of Ukraine ask Russia to invade them and overthrow the dictator of Ukraine?
Fox is good
I don’t watch Fox News. I do however care about the 30 million people trapped in poverty worse than the Great Depression by a government that refuses to allow foreign aid in and kills anyone that stands up to them. So odd it is suddenly a right wing take to care about human rights (i’m left btw)
You don’t care
I am sad but...
Yes
it is who you (collectively) are now
next election, you(collectively) get ONE chance to try and convince the world
you(collectively) are no longer this
and have no intention or tendency to(collectively) become this again.
pls .... get it right. (you are no longer climbing with points of contact, this is free soloing democracy ... in the rain)
Do you still pretend US liberated Iraqi and Afghan civilians too?
Would anyone be surprised if the real reason to start this conflict is (1) to distract from Epstein List and more importantly (2) going to use the excuse that we’re in the middle of a ‘war’ so he has to remain as president with no election, which he thinks he could do like in Ukraine.
I can answer this one. This is who you've always been, you just can't claim ignorance anymore.
What is this the opener to "10 delusional assertions that'll make friends and family think you're on a meth bender"?
War is Peace
When are Americans going to actually do what they yap about other people in other countries to do own up to this nonsense
I liked it better when the cia did it behind closed doors and I could watch football on a Sunday while sipping a whiskey....
It’s all distraction to avoid releasing the Epstein files.
To push back on the doomerism,
It's been widely reported that the dictator has already offered to leave the country and step down, but wanted amnesty for himself, his family and his inner circle for their crimes from international courts and from future Venezuelan governments, which was rejected by the Americans for whatever reasons, likely because Trump wants a scapegoat to make a punching bag out of.
As a result, the current ongoing discussion isn't if the dictatorship will step down and the Americans will invade, but rather under what conditions will the dictatorship end, largely around who gets what kind of amnesty.
At this stage, it is extremely unlikely we will see an actual invasion just continue posturing until the regime change occurs.
To be fair... The US (and every other world powerhouse in history) has done this... Trump is just way worse at hiding it.
But yes. It's who the US is and has been for a very long time, unfortunately.
Now?!
Venezuela is just the current victim, this behaviour is standard operating procedure for the United states - bringing the desire for oil/ resources... Sorry I mean democracy to the world.
When there is money to be made from wars the capitalist’s will continue to make war 🤷🏻♂️
USA is currently the League of Super Evil.
The anti-war, America first president is a fraud.
Remember, Venezuela also wants to invade its neighbor to the east in a naked act of aggression like Russia invading Ukraine. They want Guyanese citizens to die because Venezuela wants to steal half the country.
“wants to”
Both the current leader and the opposition leader are pushing for it. They’ve even pressured Google to change Google Maps to show that half of Guyana somehow belongs to Venezuela.
They haven’t invaded. Trump wants to invade lots of places too, still it would be immoral to invade America preemptively to stop him
The US is in for a rude awakening once the 4k footage of latino people getting slaughtered in mass akin to the middle east starts getting posted online. This ain't no randomistan that's a far away country with no effect to the every day citizen. This is a country that's only a few miles away from popular American tourist destinations.
As a Russian, I'm still waiting the same amount of sanctions put on Israel that had been put on Russian citizens, AND I'm looking forward EU countries condemning and sanctioning the US in case of invasion.
It will happen, certainly. Right?
Right?
But your media will have something other than the epstien files to talk about so that's good right? /s
This is who we are now???? Really? The US has invaded and interfered with 100s of countries to get outcomes for their rich people.
The problem is that people see it now, before it happens, then it happens, then comes the apologies and the introspective change where promises are made to never do it again, until next time.
We just won't learn.
All of this in the name of oil and keeping epstein out of the news
We are ruled by Chevron and other corporate cartels. Until we Americans tackle these cartels in the real world, nothing will change.
Yes you are Russia now
This is who you always were
No, this is what we have always been. Remember Iraq 2003, etc?
Dudnt Resgan invade Grenada?
I'll never understand the rehabilitation of Reagan's image. Iran Contra should have been the end of him.
Yes it’s exactly who you are now
Welp there years is not a lot of time for a war in Venezuela. In fact midterms are next year. So whatever you think they're planning, they better fucking step on it lmao
Since Vietnam, haven't we've had an abysmal record of invasions... every place left worse off, misery prevails! And we never learn.
You mean, the same way the great US of A invaded Iraq in 2003?
Reagan was bad, he invaded Grenada
W was bad, he invaded Iraq
Trump is bad, he invaded [we will see]
In Trumps first term, him and Putin had a private meeting. I believe they agreed to divide up the world between them. Putin gets Europe, Trump gets South America and Canada.
Learn history, buddy. All this bullshit about "war on terror", "freeing women in the muslim world" and "bringing democracy" to foreign countries were always just pretexts to invade independent countries who didn't want to give US their natural resources for free/very cheap.
I guess there are not enough untapped/safe to tap oil fields in the US to "Drill, baby, drill", Denmark didn't back down and the US population won't buy into invading Greenland as an act of war, so it's time for another imperialist war in South America by the US.
You lack social skills and people avoid you at parties.
Oh no! An ad hominem attack! What are we supposed to dooo? /s
I don't want this negativity in my life, so I know exactly what to do.
Probably, but there is another possibility. Venezuela will give Trump a concession/bribe, or, Putin will ask Trump to leave his oil tankers alone, and Trump willTACO his way out of the war talk.
And all these MAGA lunatics will cheer it on.
The invasion is going to be peaceful
Putin inspired Trump…
This is who conservatives have always been.
This is totally not necessary. It's all made up reasons. He needs to be stopped.!
The US taking things they want by force is nothing new. We’ve been doing that since we were a coalition of colonies.
That's not at all what's happening, Venezuela is a dictatorship and a Russian and china puppet.
They themselves threatened to invade Guyana numerous times.
Maduro's purpose is to destabilize the region. The best thing for the venezuelan people would be a regime change.
Trump has threatened to invade many countries and 55% of his own people disapprove of him. There is a ton of circumstantial evidence that he is Putin's puppet. He is trying to destabilize NATO.
All that said, if France invaded us to topple Trump I'd be pretty upset. How about you?
The US Is not in the same situation as Venezuela and trump love him or hate him is not a dictator.
If you as the average us citizen lived like the average venezuelan you'd probably be on your knees begging for France to do it
You're just moral grandstanding sitting in the equivalent of a golden palace from a venezuelan perspective, you don't know struggle
I seem to have struck a nerve.
"Dictator" is in the eye of the beholder. We have 3 co-equal branches of government, each with their own roles and responsibilities. Trump is usurping the other two and ruling by decree.
Masked men claiming to be Feds but without showing ID are abducting people off the street they suspect of being in this country illegally. The Supreme Court has said skin color is a valid indicator someone is here illegally.
Wake up, freedom lover
Yes, it is who we are now. And there is nothing we can do about it. Voting doesnt work anymore
Things can happen
But your stupid president never criticized russia for invading Ukraine. Don't manipulate
America, the earth's cancer. Spreading where it's not wanted.
Disgusting really, you're about to start killing people for no reason, I only hope Venezuela does as good as Ukraine. Too bad the world doesn't treat you guys like Russians because you're worse
Venezuela will be Vietnã part 2, It seems americans didnt learn with iraq, afganistan, Vietnã and many other, a graveyard for american soldiers and for venezuelans
Guess who has the world's largest oil reserves.
He’s mad because a Venezuelan woman won the Nobel Peace prize.
Stop saying "we". We the people are not invading anything and dont associate with this govt. Dont group anyone else in with this crap.
He just wants to copy Russia and show Putin he can do the same things he does.
Fuck yeah merica!
"Is this who we are now?"
My man forgot about Manifest Destiny and every US intervention around the globe.
Dumb op Venezuelans want you to murder their compatriots because they are communist!
Collateral damage? Never heard of her
This is clearly wrong. Its not really different then the Second Iraq War. It IS probably different then the Ukraine invasion. Although, Pete "War Crimes" Hegseth might try to make the American military behave like the Russians and blow up schools and hospitals for fun.
Fingers crossed TACO
Venezuelan citizens will be forever grateful to Trump if he liberates them from the criminals who have plundered the country for 27 years.
lmfao, were you alive during Desert Storm?
We were sold we’d be greater as liberators. We were not.
yes and yes. this is how it is throughout ALL of human history. if you want to enrich your nation you either trade or conquer.
the "revolutionary war" is literally a war for the american folk to expand westwards and create more richness. because the british, prior to war, prohibited settlers to expand west of appalachia.
if you don't like it, pull out all your troops from the world and watch your currency go to the toilet because us dollar is held by military prowess only. the us has 1 trillion per year deficit and the only way the dollar can stay stable is through military dominance and global hegemony (byproduct of military).
also every single superpower has a sphere of influence and they don't allow challengers. ukraine and belarus for russia, se asia for china and the americas for the us.
this act is totally normal. it is only the us folk that literally doesn't fight up until the enemy with his allies comes at the gate, by then it will be too late.
but this is for national and international security? he is also doing it for peace i think
This is a joke?
yah
It's nothing like Russia invading Ukraine - Eastern Ukraine is all Russian-Ukrainians and Euromaidan in 2014 installed a viciously racist regime who banned use of the Russian language and the political party that got 40% of the votes on the 2nd day after Euromaidan overthrew the elected President Yanukovich. Furthermore the Euromaidan coup regime was immediately and overtly funded by EU and NATO countries and, incidentally, when Joe was VP, Hunter Biden took a job at Burisma just months after the coup in Ukraine. Euromaidan is a plot to destabilize Ukraine hoping that it will destabilize Russia and cause a regime change. Russia is responding to a legitimate humanitarian and existential threat.
None of this is anything like Trump's aggression towards Venezuela.
Ok Putin bot
You live in a world is billions of people and half of them enjoy violence. Also you dont get the actual big pictures. America seeks security and if we have those oil reserves we wont need europe or Asia for jack shit.
You do realize that most Venezuelans actually WANT regime change, right? This includes their recent Nobel prize winner.
Same for America

It would still be bad for France to invade us
I'm not trolling, just pointing out the main motivation for participants in a society is self-gain. Selling people the idea that we're collectively better than that is just a manipulation tactic used to get fundamentally selfish beings to value something beyond themselves, (Pride, self-worth, etc). This over-abused assertion has lead people to be confused about who they are and what they're a part of... like a dog who thinks their owner is just another big dog. Reality is people are capable of recognizing themselves as pieces of crap and taking steps to limit their crappiness upon others, it's just that most don't care to, so the previous manipulation tactic remains more effective overall, yet leaves people capable of acting better confused about their fellows who aren't. And ultimately leaves us all collectively stuck using manipulation as the best course of action in both this and other areas of society. But, to answer the question clearly, even if you think you aren't that bad, our country only persists by empowering those we know are. If you think that's defeatist, you might enjoy taping a very long paper streamer onto your rear end, and spend your time chasing it. That last part is a partial joke, but only partially.
Thank God we didn't vote for the woman with the laugh
She would've started a war in a year
/S fuck this whole thing
It is who we have ALWAYS BEEN
Obama did the same rhing with rhe Arab Spring, faking a real chemical attack in Syria, goibg apong with terrorists, starting a war in Syria, then there was Lybia, drones everywhere, escalating Afghanistan and protecting heroin production at the same time as we were in the middle of an opiates problem.
Iran in the 1950's all over again
Bold prediction.
"Is this who we are now?"
This is who the US has always been. Every inch of US soil was taken by war, not even including the multitudes of foreign engagements and wars of aggression throughout US history. War is the core of the US.
What's happening now isn't new, it is more of the same. These fascists dont care to sugar coat it but its a settler colonial state doing settler colonial things, always has been.
