Bf lost his sense of smell with Covid about 2 years ago. We got a new puppy almost a year ago and this dog has gas that makes me literally vomit. He can’t smell a thing. I hate them both.
After such horrendous trip police stopping me would be my least worry. Like officer, I've just had my worst few days of my life, I just want to go home
Read this whole fiasco, and wow, red guy's infuriating. I almost wanna punch him in the face, but something tells me he probably wouldn't care, though.
Dude/lad should step up his game then, and go cave dwelling, scuba diving or even scuba cave divwelling at this point. Those you actually have a decent chance of "winning" the "worthy" death seeked.
I bet the shower and the nap felt really good tho :3 (also I really like your drawing and yes I just saw what you put in the corner and no I will not change my comment :3)
Eh, he earned that. Everyone gets what they earn at the end, whether it's congratulations, punishment, or just a lifetime of side-eye whenever he has "a fantastic idea about what we should do."
I’d bet the friend pulled a “ooh what a fun trip we should do that AGAIN next year!!! We had a few hiccups sure but we can patch up and prepare better NEXT TIME!” Once everyone got home
I mean hey, was still right they would bring it up kinda soon;
Camp freaks will have literally the worst trip ever; break 7 bones, lose 3 toes to hypothermia and almost starve to death, then when they get back home they act like it was the best shit ever.
I used to like camping; but literally every time it was pouting rain the whole time EVERY TIME without fail and I just dont like it now.
When I was in scouts as a kid it rained every time we went on a troop camping trip. My mother was the scout leader and we often chose places that we had gone previously as a family, so I knew that they were awesome, but so many of my friends hated camping and didn’t understand my fond memories of “xx state park” or “xx campground” since it had consisted of playing crazy 8s wrapped up in damp clothes under a tarp for them.
Oh yuh. Had a scout summer camp, we were in ELEVATED TENTS, like a foot off the ground. Rained so much the tents STILL flooded.
Another where the ground was gravel, rained nonstop, literally did nothing but be cold in tents
Did a backpacking trip during monsoon season; didn’t set up the shelters right snd it fell down, literally everyone’s shit was soaking wet and we spent 4 days not moving trying to dry off. All huddled together to try and stay warm.
Had a trip I did where this was basically how it rained the whole time too. (And if you cant tell the red lights are a car.)
I suspect it was only made so easy by channeling your rage, perhaps the car ride was silent because nobody wanted to risk taking an elbow from you and dying on the spot
When I was a kid, my dad used to take me along on fly-in, canoe-out trips in northern Quebec. He’d choose his routes based on topographic maps. The trips lasted up to three weeks, and on several occasions turned into real ordeals of survival as far as I was concerned. My dad throve on such
Like the time the map showed a significant river when what existed was a series of beaver meadows - hauling the canoe and all our stuff through that was something else: oh and it was raining heavily. We stripped to our underwear to save our clothes as we waded through mud and crawled over beaver dams. A moment of horror when I found myself covered in dozens of leeches (fortunately, before they had bitten me). Worse, the rain kept washing off our muskol, so we were soon eaten alive by mosquitoes - and since we were travelling through a swamp there was nowhere to set up camp.
On another trip, some of our food got ruined, the fishing was no good, and so we were reduced to meals of peanut butter for the last two days. Then the peanut butter ran out, just as we arrived back at the cabin.
Fortunately we never got sick or injured. There were plenty of fun experiences along the way, but the hardships do tend to stand out in the memory!
Things to always have on a trip outside, tarp(great for shelter cus tarp), lighter with paper for fire, extra clothes, deodorant, extra socks cus wet socks suck and hurt yo feet, foooooood, water, medkit, some emergency stuff like a raincoat or a thermal blanket or like stuff to get the attention of help like flashing lights doesnt hurt to have either. feel like I'm forgetting some things but whatever.

I have determined this whole trip was just cursed. You guys couldn't even get back without incident!
Also y'all must have REALLY stank to get the conductor involved

Oh I know. My nose is so shot I can't even smell pee or poop anymore
On the bright side I don't get grossed out as much

It’s good that most of the comic characters lacking a nose

Excuse me, an active what now? Aw hell no.
What? That happens when you hike in the Balkans.
Those warning signs ain't just decoration.
And I thought me falling asleep to gun shots was bad.
At least it wasn't falling asleep from gun shots.
totally different lullaby
The police part certainly sounds convincing.
I think your friend should never go on another camping or hiking trip
After such horrendous trip police stopping me would be my least worry. Like officer, I've just had my worst few days of my life, I just want to go home
I didn't think you would be so two-dimensional.

Could still use it as a reference for different angles
I like the eyes.
I see the problem: she's missing her scarf!
Idk, looks fine to me!
Somehow 3d Sue gives a greater Gremlin energy than 2d Sue

A third dimension!?! In this economy?!?
I suppose what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Folding (corrugated) cardboard makes a nice strong box to hold a lot of memories (trauma).
Hopefully you can have a better planned trip in the future.

Good times!
Same again next year?

Lol, you should have been sprayed with a garden hose before being let inside.
At least you'll have this story to tell.
As someone who was in Cubs and Scouts growing up, yeah, I know that feeling.
At least you didn't get a massive rash from poison ivy on the trip.
I don't think they have poison ivy (or poison sumac) in Europe?
Not really but there are other plants that are just as bad
With the trip like this, will you and your companions be able to recover financially????

My condolences.
You have pretty good friends then.
Everything that could go wrong went wrong, goodness gracious this saga was a ride! XD

“once a year”, huh?
Would that be during the yearly hiking trip? :P
Please tell me the breaking of the window was itself another enormous exhausting ordeal

Safety glass is pretty easy to break by attacking it with something pointy. People who rob cars even have a special little pointy tool for it
It is meant to be easy so you don't die in a fire or drown in a river.
Hell of a trip, thanks for sharing.

I love how you drew flat cartoon humans sitting on 3D seats
At least you got a brilliant comic out of it. I especially like folded 2d Sue in a 3d train. Your art always makes me smile
Wow.. next time please take me with you 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
2D Sue is the cutest dang thing I've seen in a minute.
I am sorry, but “designated driver” (not designed, unless you are god)
https://preview.redd.it/n6nf00yjwe7g1.png?width=906&format=png&auto=webp&s=b34ef5004e2b76ec12617d3e3303f9b4b5822dde
Just built an android. No big deal.
Sensing a lot of COVID longhaulers in here.
I love how you and your friends just fold like paper when sitting on the seats.
Just like how you'll probably fold if you tried to ask someone o-Well, you've got more gumption and grace than I do. I'd be seriously reconsidering some friendships by the end of this ordeal.
This was fun to follow love ya.
Something about a 3d artist making a 2d paper-esque version of themselves seems so silly.
Glad you survived, when's the next trip?
Dear god. As much of a ride as this was to read, I can barely imagine living it!
Btw, I love how dynamic you've gotten with formatting these. Love the work <3
Who keeps their keys in their wallet?
I think the main takeaway here is never go outside.

That was very entertaining.
I guess you decided not to brave the ice cold showers from the previous part?
You promised broken glass in Part 9!
Little text is saying Sue is sitting on broken glass.
As such, I am appeased. Much gratitude.
Damn it’s over. What a truly cursed trip
Haha Chibi 2D Sue in 3D space is so cute
Things to always have on a trip outside, tarp(great for shelter cus tarp), lighter with paper for fire, extra clothes, deodorant, extra socks cus wet socks suck and hurt yo feet, foooooood, water, medkit, some emergency stuff like a raincoat or a thermal blanket or like stuff to get the attention of help like flashing lights doesnt hurt to have either. feel like I'm forgetting some things but whatever.
The lesson from this whole arc is that when people tell you to touch grass, you shoudn't.
