Both versions of the comic articulate that. So not sure what you're talking about. It being that spelled out and on the nose is boring. The awkward silence in the last panel is much more effective and funnier imo.
At risk of sounding pretentious, the emphasized silence in the first one hits so much harder than the thought-bubble in the second one. They aren't saying anything in either one, but the fact that the first one emphasizes that everyone went dead-silent afterwards is objectively hilarious.
Good job, much better
Much worse
How so?
Because Twitter is bad and the this f*cking guy cements that

Well, I didn't catch that because I'm bad with social cues
If it makes you feel better I'm in the same boat, I needed to see the original to be sure what was being implied. Still funny though.
Thank you
Reddit and Tumblr never get invited to the Christmas party:(
I would never invite reddit to a Christmas party
Surely can't be worse than the other attendees?
4chan shows up
anon is john christmas party
but you'd invite Tinder?
Tumblr decided not to come, there was no ball pit
You're telling me SPOTIFY got invited to a social media Christmas party before REDDIT??
Not to mention discord or Tumblr
I wouldn't invite them either ðŸ˜
Seriously why is it so hard for comic makers to not day anything
r/comedyamputation
Both are good although I like the first one a bit more
