The smallest field in each P4 conference

If there's a "P4" in baseball, the Sun Belt has more of a claim than the B1G (discounting former PAC12 member accomplishments)

    1) I was just using the verbage that was used in the tweet.

    2) The BigTen has actually been ranked higher than the Sunbelt the last couple seasons.

Especially last season, the Sunbelt was very top heavy. Only 4 teams in the league finished with an overall record above .500

4 of their top 5 in RPI were the PAC12 newcomers, if you take them out I would expect the conference average rating to drop down significantly

Admittedly the Sun Belt did have a down year outside of the frontrunners last year, I'm not sure if that was an aberration or one of the results of the transfer portal

Sunbelt was the definition of top heavy last year. Only 2 tournament teams both hosted a regional.

Since 2022 the Big Ten has a slight (frankly marginal) edge over the Sun Belt. They're pretty much equal. The best of the Sun Belt is slightly better and the worst is slightly worse.

I suspect this slight edge will widen in the coming years with the Big Ten's addition of UCLA & Oregon. The Sunbelt's is losing Texas State but gaining La. Tech so I view that will even out.

365 to centerfield is disgusting, wtf is that fence layout.

I knew LNS was small, but I didn't realize it was that small. No wonder why Tony was stacking lineups with left handed beasts and righty's that can go opposite field.

Homeruns are fun - go Elander! Go Vols!

To be fair, we have like a 3' high wall in right field to offset the short distance.

    Would've never guessed

Every time the highlights of Marshall McDougal's 6 homer game comes around, I'm always astonished at how small Maryland's field is. 360ish to dead center is smaller than most low-mid level high school fields
