Difficulty Level - EASY
You know the rules by now.
I listen to a Cocteau Twins song, I attempt to transcribe the lyrics WITHOUT ANY AID OF LINER NOTES OR LYRICS WEBSITES (foolish....I know) and you reply with your guess as to what the song is.
Winner gets….honestly…nothing. Except bragging rights, a celebratory GIF. and a link to the song of the day.
[NOTE: Any lyrics I perceive that either name a good portion of the song title or is just the song title in whole will be blocked out with *CENSORED\*. Text shown in italics wrapped in parentheses are just my snarky asides, usually about my shitty hearing.]
I've been picking some rough ones to try and decipher lyrics from, so I'm giving myself (and therefore you all) an easy one today.
-------------------------------
Sorrow
For letting
Someone eh-else
Define you know who you are at every age
Wuh-at (as in a two-syllabled WHAT)
Impression
Am I making
I see me as other people see me
CHORUS
There is no going back
I can't stop feeling now (or down?)
I am not the same, I'm growing up again
I am not the same
I'm growing up again
There's no going back I can't stop feeling down (or now)
As always, I look forward to your guesses and snark.

YOU ARE CORRECT!!!!! Today's song was "Evangeline", the first single off of "Four Calendar Cafe", which incidentally is the one Cocteau Twins album that I hadn't listened to completely until just recently (what can I say. I assumed it was going to be a "sell-out" album because there was no more Vaughan Oliver artwork or anything similar. I literally judged a book by its cover. I'll admit it. I'm a superficial dick).
I coronate you (and u/BurningFarm) for today's victory and here is the video:

Milk and Kisses is incredible, I love t dearly. Might have something to do with my divorcing.
Oops. Evangeline
I think I'm going to have to implement a new rule with today's game. I'm going to reward you as a CO-WINNER today, but I think it's only fair going forward that if two users chime in with the correct answer within the same minute but one of them has already made a guess, the person who chimed in with the correct answer on their first guess wins. I will note this in the rules at the top of the game going forward. So, for instance, if something like today's game were to happen again in the future, only u/Its-Axel_B would win. But since there was no clear-cut rule in this scenario prior, you win too. Here is your crown!
Nah I fucked it up. In my rush to be first I made a mistake when I read the lyrics. It was only afterwards, when I was trying to sing it in my head, that I realized it was the wrong song.
Know Who You Are At Every Age
Even though it is in the lyrics, that answer is incorrect.
I guess this one may be more...

...that I originally thought.
Okay, that was a great joke
Wrong! You just copied one of the lines OP has given.
