Hi! I’m new to working with air-dry clay. I’ve noticed a lot of people use UV resin to seal their pieces, but I’d prefer not to work with it since I have cats at home and it can be toxic. I am currently using this one, but I don’t know if it works. What other sealing alternatives are there?

  • I recommend Deco Art Triple Thick Glaze. It looks just as shiny as resin and is fairly durable.

It's not as durable as resin but that shouldn't be a big deal unless your making a keychain or something that's going to get banged around a lot

It becomes dry enough to touch in a couple minutes but isn't fully cured until about 12 hours.

If you use it on 2 pieces make SUPER SURE they DO NOT TOUCH until the full drying time.

If they bumb a bit it's fine but if they're touching while they dry they will fuse together.

oh okay thank you so much!
