I found air-dry clay and bought it on a whim. I have never sculpted, but I have made plushies, embroidered and drawn for a long, long time, so I thought it wouldn't be that difficult. As far, it's all good and I'm enjoying it.

I plan to let it dry for some hours so the head is more steady and then continue woth the hair and clothes. Once it all dries, paint it with acrylics and varnish (it'll be matte, if it matters). If any of the steps should be changed, please let me know!!

And as well, how should I store the remaining clay? For now, I have it inside a heretic zip lock bag. If anyone recognizes which character I'm doing, comment it, I wanna see how many people are still in the fandom! (Tip: it was fairly popular around 2010)

  • Don't put it on a base before it's fully dried, otherwise it's gonna crack. One thing tho I haven't tried but was given advice on is to add salt? I was too afraid to try

Sorry, what do you mean by base? If it's the typical circular plate-like base, I don't plan on making that

Dont stick it into or onto anything it shrinks as it dries and can crack
