Good morning to everyone, I'm new to the ChromeOS community as I recently snagged a Acer spin 513 CP513-1H N20Q4, with a snapdragon 7c,8gb of ram and 128gb of storage for only 30€,but unfortunately I was too caught up in the fantasy of installing Linux on it to realize it's hardware blocked to any external binaries that aren't Google's. I was wondering if there was a way to make the experience more fluid and responsive, because it stutters a lot even without background apps, or a more desktop cli Linux experience like crouton allows me to already, thanks I'm advance for eventual suggestions
snapdragon and native linux is a no go (for pedantic: not pragmatic unless you are developer). Try disabling Android Apps.
In theory see https://github.com/velvet-os/imagebuilder Search for codename Lazor.
crouton is long dead.
PostmarketOS might be worth a closer look: https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Main_Page
