If you have a windows machine use so called Rufus https://rufus.ie/en/ If you have normal Linux (not Chromebook) sudo dd if=FILENAME.bin of=/dev/sdX bs=4M
absolutely nothing, however, this was bought secondhand from someone. It worked fine when i got it, then randomly stopped working.
This means the the storage chip emmc is damaged. Unless you replace motherboard - which is the major cost - it is to be recycled.

Have you done anything that modifies the firmware. If so please provide the whole story.
