Just give it a bit. Unless it stays for several days. Youtube is constantly updating their site and has been fighting a war with ad blockers and downloaders for years now, it's not new. they update something to stop something, then the people of the 3rd party something just update and bypass it again.
I've set uBlock Origin Lite to "basic" and YouTube doesn't seem to notice it's still enabled. I sometimes get ads but not always. Anything higher makes the video unplayable.
I'm also getting the same YouTube AdBlock message like every other video. You can watch the videos, but it's becoming a nuisance. There are some alternatives, but it would be nice to find a workaround and give YouTube/Google the bird. By the way, toggling the filter modes doesn't help
It has it, there is a section called:
Custom Filters, with import buttons, where you can import txt files containing those filters. So if anyone has/knows the required new filters, it can solve the issues. I have no idea where to get them, maybe another version of Ublock Origin used on a different browser. Then import those on chrome.
Which is why he said there's no filter lists to update.
You can start curating add-on lists and importing exporting them manually if you want. But the benefit of Uno and ubolite is that they manage the block lists.
You'll just need to wait for the update unfortunately
Go to your Chrome shortcut on your desktop (if you don't have one, create one)
Add "--disable-features=ExtensionManifestV2Unsupported,ExtensionManifestV2Disabled" behind the path in the destination box (the one that ends in chrome.exe)
Save, close Chrome and relaunch it from this new shortcut

Found a workaround.
Click on Try Youtube Premium and then go back to the video page and the popup is removed.
worked well thanks

I just refresh the page and it's gone !

But never actually buy YouTube premium:D
This is literally the Report ad trick all over again 🤣

By switching completely to Firefox
Confirmed. Mine too
Update filter list
uBlock Lite doesn't have filter lists that you can update, or even alter.
Oh, I didn't know that

Mine is set to "Optimal" and I am not having any issues watching YouTube videos.
Mine is set to Optimal, but the problem is there. I will try Basic to see what happens.
UBO FTW!
Here's a solution for windows:

This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.
That's why you do the step that edits the launch options. It will make it availableÂ
"This method won't be available in Chrome 142 anymore either."
This hasn't worked for months.
Vivaldi is doing fine w/ UB:Origin
I just watch it from LibreWolf instead with UBO when I'm on YouTube. It works
Try AdGuard as a fallback, but do not combine the two adblockers together.
Else, you can try Brave or Firefox (+ uBlock) for adblocking.
Adguard plays the sound but the video is all white. uBlock doesnt work anymore too, oh well mine isnt. Hope someone finds another way soon
cfbr
Been using ublock origin lite for years, I've never seen that screen before
