I feel like his point is getting greatly misconstrued, at least in my mind, and if I’m right about that I agree with him. I think his point is that he’s going to a place for small children, so obviously you have to go with them, but everything in there is for small children, so you have to go but can’t actively participate in any way, so why are you, the parent, having to pay for a ticket for yourself? I hate when places do this myself. I like taking my kid places made just for him, and don’t mind in the least sitting by while he plays, but if I can’t actively participate with him then I shouldn’t also need a ticket, I should only have to pay for a ticket for him, the one actually using the services provided
Edit to add that while I agree with his point broadly, I don’t agree with it in this specific case as a children’s museum is not a place where you can’t actively participate with your child. I mean somewhere, like a playground, with small equipment adults can’t play on and you’re just expected to sit off to the side and watch your kid do the activity. Of course I should watch my own kid, but I shouldn’t have to pay to do it
It’s a museum. Not the babysitters club house. Parental supervision is mandatory.
“Can’t go alone” sounds like a wonderful father… who doesn’t know how ticket sales are made…
This guy hates his family, lol

Ok I have to just lay this out simply.
This is a CHILDREN’S museum!
WTF the self absorbed entitlement of this dumbass dad of the year.
"Why can't I ditch my kid there?"
🤣🤣 toddler
I thought this had to be a trampoline park or something similar. A museum?! I feel bad for his wife.
Children’s museums are play places
They are immersive MUSEUMS.
right, but theyre not like adult museums lol kids play with and on and in the things there.
You need to go to cooler museums! But I know what you're saying.
