Honestly, I really like not having all kinds of things to do on the holidays.
Same. I always hated having to rush around and do stuff on the holidays as a kid (divorced parents, so two sets of things to do). It's so nice actually getting to relax
Going to friends house later. Don’t know if they invited several, or just me, as my mother passed last Christmas as I don’t want to go to her house this time (I sent stepdad to his niece, my dad lives 1500 miles away)
I’m at my parents’ place in Florida along with my brother and his fiancee. We had a bomb Christmas Eve having beef fondue, wine, and watching Bad Santa. Today’s just presents, dinner, and White Christmas. No small children in sight. It’s perfect.
I had two of my best friends surprise me at 10 PM at my doorstep, and we stayed up until 4 smoking and talking and having fun and they’re sleeping in my living room right now til they get their train home. Beats having kids any day.
I used to have 2 cats, but they both passed within the past couple of years 😥 I probably won't get any more while I'm still single, it was a bunch to do for just me.
This is exactly how I like spending the day: in peace and quiet, watching my favorite holiday movies. And since I didn't have to spend money buying gifts for any kids, I spent the extra money on catering so I didn't have to cook today. Merry Christmas to me!
Slept in then got up and watched a movie while sipping my coffee. After that I made a late breakfast and opened the gifts my mom and baby sister sent me. Now I’m laying on my couch watching football while my new cat attacks a cardboard box. It’s been a perfect Christmas Day so far.
I spent the day volunteering in a railway museum workshop. I was the only one there.
Later, a storm blew through. It was fucking bliss. Just chipping away at a restoration, honing your craft as the rain belts down, knowing you're spending this day of bullshit, your way.

Honestly, I really like not having all kinds of things to do on the holidays. I'll make waffles and that's enough for me.

Congratulations!
My child jumped in our bed, screamed and shook, and just kept being demanding. Such a noisy Christmas morning.
My child is a cat.
😸
No kids and never married here reporting!
Flair checks out 😄

Just went to Waffle House and came home to watch an old movie. Going to take a nap later. I Love it
Hmm, I could go for some waffles 😄

Paradise
Nice! I wouldn’t mind not celebrating at all, but my family is local and they would like me to be there. Not visiting family or friends?
1000 miles away.
friends? 😄
I feel that. Well I hope that you have a great day and I’m happy you get to spend it how you want. I don’t have friends either. lol
Well, I would prefer a SO to spend it with, but it certainly beats spending it with my ex-wife 😄
Yay! Do you like pets?

I got to spoil all my nieces and nephews because I don't have kids. Having that extra income to do so is priceless.

I don't do xmas or any big "holiday".
