As a beginner ~800 player I feel like I get really good positions by just playing like this. At first I was always worried about ruining my kingside/queen side but I have had a lot of success by putting pawns and knights in the center like this and just making a pushed out, rock solid centre. I'm black btw.

Absolutely. Here white took an extremely passive opening, so grab that center! Its basically a reverse Modern opening, but worse.
Don't see what your race has to do with it but ok
He's talking about his soul, man. Not his race.
The f pawn is usually a little bit incorrect from stockfish’s perspective (weakens the kingside a bit) but from a human perspective I definitely like grabbing the center with 3 pawns. Technically not the best, but very pleasant for the side with the pawns.
As white yes, almost without exception you can throw 3 pawns in the centre and be better off against a passive opening. As black, it is a little more nuanced. I think against this nimzo larsen gone wrong, the opponent didnt break early and the three pawns is just better for black. However those reverse pirc/ kia lines with nf3 d3 g3 bg2 you have to be careful and a d5 e5 centre is optimal. This is because a fed centre is slightly unstable as black a tempo down.
Course find me an 800 that knows how to collapse a centre and ill be impressed.
