Haha, yeah I know. It's probably a bit silly that I find it amusing, but I just liked that they went out of the way to defend the bishop, as opposed to the rook which was already defended when the print screen happened.
Either way, nice going! I do feel like distracting the defender is definitely the tactic that is the cause of most of my lost pawns. Definitely one I need to work on!

Although the engine suggests Nxd4 as a perfect play, I took the rook, yes. Then 1. … Qd2 2. Qb4 Qc2 3. Qxh4 and they resigned.
Is that third step Qxa4 instead of Qxh4?

Qxh4 is actually really funny.
Just the idea of them automatically playing Qc2 to protect the bishop, then after you took it they were like -_-
I do think it counts as a smothered mate. That's clearly why they resigned.
I mean, it’s the same idea as one step earlier with the rook (remove the defender), what did they expect? :)
