Hiii! I just recently started to dip my toes back into dating again after a 2-3 year hiatus and I forgot how few CF people are out there 🫠. Anyhow, I'm a yapper so I'll try to be my definition of brief.

About me:

I'm a software engineer living near Boston, Massachusetts, who begrudgingly goes into the office 5 days a week 😅. I'm going to start looking for a remote job soon, which will give me a lot more flexibility 😊. I've been grinding my career for the past few years and thiiiiink I'm in a spot where I can take my foot off the gas a bit (it's happening regardless, I'm tired 😂)

Cool, boring adult stuff done and out of the way! The super short version of who I am is: I'm a nerd who lifts weights and loves to laugh and make others laugh. I'm also a weirdo, in the chaotic good way.

Nerd stuff: video games, tech, d&d, anime/manga, random natural science things like pointing out a planet or picking up a rock and forcing you to listen to my rock facts.

Non-nerd stuff: weight lifting, traveling, hiking/nature walks, cooking/baking, spending time with friends. I'm also very much the tag along with plans or errands person, so if something like thrifting is your jam then I'm there for it 🫡

Physical stuff: 5'7¾", ~230 lbs. I've historically been a bit of a weight fluctuator and this is the upper end of it, so I only get hotter from here 😎.

What I'm looking for:

Ideal: A monogamous, long-term relationship with someone in the age range of 28-38 who lives in the United States.

Reality is that I'm a pretty easygoing and flexible person! I'm open to experimenting with ENM/poly, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not wired that way, so just understand that if it doesn't work for me then it doesn't work for me 🤷‍♂️. Age? It's mostly thinking about activity level at older ages and retirement ages. E.g. Am I just retiring when you're 75 and I'm 65? What does that retirement look like? I don't feel tied to my location, so I'm open to relocating if the vibe is right, but software engineering salaries drop a lot outside of USA so I have golden handcuffs 😂

I always day dream and fantasize about moving to various places and life styles. Right now I'm thinking about warm, rural, and farmey, but that may be because of work stress 😁. There's also a side of me that would be fine living somewhere like NYC for a few years just for the food 😂
