• What is his name??

I’m hoping it comes out soon. His life is going to suck badly.

  • This is worse than the George Floyd case

  • Does anyone even know why Renee Good was being targeted/stopped? Sassy suburban mom doesn’t fit the ICE target demographic, unless you just generalize it to, “people they see as vulnerable.”

She was participating is the anti-ice "legal observer" movement who are deployed and alerted to be on scene of enforcement operations as a way to send a message to the "fascist" leader and ideally show of force of citizens who want ICE out. This post is an extension of the social media arm of the movement to dox and expose.. and "internet, do your thing"

She was, along with other vehicles, purposefully blocking ICE operations with her car. They told her to get out which is when she tried to leave and the coward murdered her.

  • There is no reason to post this, in my opinion. There are thousands of this guy out there. It's like being outraged at a specific cancerous lymph node when the whole body is metastasized. Also... you might as well be generating a picture with a bulls-eye/scope crosshairs over it. It gives everyone else ammunition (no pun intended) to point to 'the despicable behavior of the left', despite the mountains of hypocrisy anyway.

Let me be clear, I am outraged and disgusted and devastated about this. But posting with pictures of the guy, pictures that none of us can actually trust these days, isn't the right way to express it.

He murdered someone. So I disagree.

Look at how far and wide the media spread the upper-face image of the guy who shot that ceo. Eyebrows guy.

    This is no different.

So long as there’s no vigilante justice.

I understand. And I think you are totally right about vengeance or vigilante justice. It's my belief this post boils down to vigilantism. I don't think OP posted it as an interesting aside, but with anger directed towards him and hoping everyone else piles on.

I also believe this cedes any moral high ground. We've seen the majority of people in this country don't think critically, and aren't good at weighing one moral failing against a other. Tonight, people who vote but may never pay attention to the details will just see another case of "both sides do it". I just scanned past a post of the victim's picture and a demeaning title. You know it is posted to direct readers anger and derision towards one side, to generalize them, and reinforce the narrative they're constructed and contue to foment.

I know I'm in the minority, I don't care, but I don't believe in eye-for-an-eye, not do I think two (or two thousand) wrongs make a right.

My agnostic prayers are with the victim's family and loved ones. And I hope this event turns some people away from the hate they've been passively or actively supporting.
