Unfortunately my cat gets me up before the sun rise for food. I also give her just a little bit at 3. She has now worked that down to 1oclock. I gave her a treat of just a few bites additionally one day about a couple of hours after the 1oclock feeding. It took 4 days for her not begging me for more food after the 1oclock feeding I did just once. And still once in a while she well try. Damn cat.
Thatās a classic animal trainer thing, a āslot machineā reinforcement schedule. Once you hit a jackpot, the player will pull that handle hundreds more times before giving up.
Consistency is key in animal training. Also same reason to never give in even once for scraps at the table.
