I actually think it's not a great thing to see. Near brand new car and that spot is only going to get worse if it's not fixed. Could fix it but it might look worse.

    It's got Chernobyl syndrome. It's a goner. Don't buy it 💔

I can’t believe someone would even sell a car with that much damage.

One light breeze and youll need a dustpan to get to work

I would pass, frame damage is expensive to fix

    parent
  • 3 points DragonStrike406

IDK man, this looks hard to salvage. Repair might cost more than the car itself.

    GTI not GTD

    2 points YukariIsMommy

I didn't ask if it was a GTD, I asked if it was a TDI. swap if you have to.

That means it's reaching puberty, very normal for Golfs that age.

All VWs have that paint issue. The metal parts rust under paint. The only solution is to repaint from the bare metal with acid primer and a nice layer of paint otherwise the car will corrode into a cheddar cheese

Looks totalled. I personally wouldn't risk my life on such a death trap. Best take the bus home this time for safe measures

Mixed opinions on this one, I’ve made my final decision. I will wreck the car, it’s only 3 years old but if i have to do it, I WILL! The risk is too much, and I always preferred the bus anyway
