Our medical staff is having trouble with their Google searches about what’s going on
Trying to come up with new AI prompts
“What are the chances 2 players on the same team could have a problem with their poplit…”?
"Is it normal to have diarrhea after having 3 costco hotdogs? What about 4 costco hotdogs and a poutine?"
"Now tell me in the style of an Elliot Friedman tweet, and come up with different abbreviations for poutine each mention. Oh also what is tendonitis?"
They’re blindly following the Gemini AI suggestions that come up at the top of every Google search without digging deeper
"I typed your symptoms into the thing up here, and it says you could have Network Connectivity Problems."
Those ones are the most costly to aqua. He hates them
Francesco didn’t pay for their ChatGPT sub this month
As you likely already know, our medical staff is undermanned and underpaid. It’s horrendous. I feel bad for the hard working trainers who want to help the players but lack the resources and hours to do it properly.
Hey it’s UpToDate, at least
They did this shit with Forbort who went from undisclosed to damn near SELTIR
At this point I just hope Forbort is alive.
We need to bring back faces on milk cartons for missing players. Honestly Forbort he was on the roster.
Can we just Forbort about this whole season
Before we see any momentum in the right direction, me thinks we’re going to have to forbort a few seasons
We need more Bort milk cartons in the team store. I repeat we need more Bort milk cartons in the team store
And Bort license plates.
Is he still on our team?
Honestly, fire Michael Doyle and sell the team. This is so embarrassing.

I worked in a restaurant he was running before he got his current gig. He’s a prick
Why is a guy whose entire work experience is in the restaurant industry running a sports franchise?
My mechanic would be great at running a bakery with Franny's logic
Because the majority part of a sports franchise is still literally a hospitality operation.
The problem is the guy just sucks at it.
There is so much truth to this. I have a few friends in the office there. Sounds like he doesn't let anyone do their job because he thinks he can it better and is prone to lashing out at anyone. I wonder if this is why people in high level positions are jumping ship?
This club is absolutely horrible when it comes to communication. We never know what's going on and the few things they try to communicate are often not trustworthy.
Top of the game at leaking their plans tho
They used to be good under Gillis and really good under Linden.
It's just that both Rutherford and Allvin are both so bad at this job, and they both don't give a shit about the market and actually doing anything for the fans.
Seriously. They are so out of touch.
Tbf, majority of the league is.
NHL is well behind on this stuff because they don’t take the gambling stuff seriously enough. Other leagues have to disclose because the companies demand it.
That's fair, but I was talking mostly about how they communicate with fans. Their social media presence is so stiff.
Yeah it’s rough I agree
Honest q...is it any of our business?
The problem is there’s no indication anyone INSIDE the organization has better information or predictions than we do. Their medical and athletic training staff is underpaid and undermanned, and their entire approach to managing injuries has been suspect for several years.
As a fan, I would like to know how serious an injury is or how much time the player's supposed to miss.
Sure, as do i....but that doesn't make us entitled to know.
Outside of hockey, almost every sports league gives way more detailed injury status reports. Even in hockey the Canucks are awful at communicating it, so we're the worst of the worst.
To actually answer your question, I think we are entitled to it since we're the ones filling the seats. Fans want to know what's happening with the players for the team they're giving money to. It should be the onus of the team to tell us I think. At the very least, that's the standard set by basically every other team in every other major North American sports team out there.
Fair enough, that makes sense! Thank you!
Nobody said we were.
They sent him to Robidas island.
Has there been rumors about this?
classic canucks "day to day" = out for months

injury bug has hit abby hard
Åman played when I was there Wednesday. Kudryavtsev didn't though. They grabbed Okabe up from the K-Wings to fill a gap
He’s still waiting to be evaluated because they sent him to wait at the medical clinic at Sevenoaks.
Lekkerimäki was spotted on a dilapidated former transit shuttle bus, last seen hanging a right into a blueberry patch near Abbotsford.

Ironically taking a leaf out of the Leafs book with injury disclosure - because everyone was soooo happy when Mathews disappeared to Germany when he was still day-to-day.
Heard in Canucks medical room: « Hey Siri, what’s wrong with Lekkerimaki? »
Let him cook. He's had some bad luck healthwise and it's not like he's desperately needed.
Waiting for a doctor
This is current plateau of our hybrid rebuild. Hope the draft lottery balks take mercy on us.
Unqualified shit box of a medical team is what Aqua thinks these players deserve, god damn it's embarrassing.
Yep. Not a surprise when you dig deep into the Aquilini family history. These are not good employers by any means. They care about themselves and their dollars.
Kind of makes you realize in hindsight why players had to insist ownership retain certain coaches or medical staff to stay. It's because they don't get the support they need and ownership is cheap.
Again, until tis family is not at the helm, you're not getting any changes.
Nobody here pays attention to the AHL I guess, this is pretty standard for injuries down there lol
Who cares. If he's injured, let him rest. If he's dealing with something personal, let him deal with it.
I agree if they said it’s a personal leave to leave it, but they said he’s being evaluated.
In this case, there is nothing wrong with asking about the status of one of the team’s top prospects. A team That we all support and likely spend money on.
So he's probably injured. Why do we need to know the severity of the injury? Why do we need to know every intricate detail, and how does knowing or not knowing impact our support or our $?
This team has an incredibly poor record when it comes to evaluating injuries, and that affects the players negatively.
Because I’d like to go pay money to see him play? Because I’d like to cheer for his development?
we nened another 'i aint surprised' quote
Their ChatGPT free trial ran out. Now their "medical" staff cant figure out what's wrong
Sounds like a concussion
Canucks fans are hilarious - people in here calling for the jobs of the training and medical staff like they truly have any idea what’s going on lol.
To be fair to those people, when you communicate poorly with your fan base, this is what happens.
No it’s not, quite literally every pro sports team acts like this with injuries, it’s not an isolated Canucks thing.
This market is beyond cooked
I follow the Canucks, SeaHawks, Whitecaps, Raptors, and Jays all very closely. The Canucks create their own drama. The other franchises don’t.
If you follow the Raptors than you should know Poeltl has some sort of nagging back injury and has been in and out of the lineup, but now he's out indefinitely and the fans don't know when he'll be back in the lineup.
I’m specifically talking about injuries, the whole point of this post and my comment.
So am I
