Looked it up, and there was one female driver in the car. She got out herself and workers threw a rope down to help her out. She was taken to hospital but was more or less ok, considering.
Oh 😦 that’s a bad fall. Hope the driver is ok. Call to insurance will be interesting. You say the road just caved in? 🤨 Did the dog also eat your homework as a child?
None of this made any sense to me. That darker tarmac is clearly a new tarmac, did they lay it on top of air? Sink holes are real, but you can’t lay a new tarmac without discovering weak surface, you have those heavy tarmac roller vehicles going over it, surely it would have sank compared to light small car.
It's very difficult to see how the erosion could have led to this so quickly (as erosion is generally a very slow process, and there is clearly pretty much nothing left under that tarmac - so how did it hold up for the laying and steamrolling of that new tarmac?)
That road was not baked enough in the oven. The crust was still soft. Now it's ruined. You have to make a new batter and bake it from scratch. Hopefully the oven is still warm enough!
Why wasn’t the cones put down to insure a wider turn? Eventually it would nave occurred caused by cars driving straight by. Why wasn’t the entire road closed?
AI? That house with the bright-red roof in the background looks really silly if not to say completely unnatural. And plenty of things don't make sense here.
Poor Gandalf, clearly struggling with his day job. That "YOU SHALL NOT PASS" spell goes off at the worst times, especially with those cheap replacement lollipop staffs.
Someone else here mentioned they were using cars to fill holes. The hole must have needed that specific car because he allowed two others to pass before stopping that one. Talk about timing. The universe just sent you a message.
On July 26, a car was swallowed by a sinkhole along Tanjong Katong Road South, prompting road closures and water disruptions. A day later, it was lifted out using a crane and placed back on the road, Channel News Asia reported.
The car then immediately proceeded to drive off as if nothing happened?
I have epilepsy with seizures that last ten minutes
I only got it when I was 32. So, I had very little experience or knowledge of epilepsy. It was a steep learning curve..
Anyway, one of the ways a partial seizure can present is with deja vu. The first time I had 10 minutes of deja vu.. it was proper fucked up. I didn't know it was a seizure. I thought I was going insane.
Yeah, man. It's weird as fuck. There have been loads of weird shit happen to my head and seen as though the brain controls everything, my body.
I always mention stuff to my neurologist and he smiles and says: "Yep, that's another type of seizure."
There was me for my whole life thinking epilepsy was flashy lights and fits. I don't even get affected by flashy lights.
Even though I have seizures every day, my neurologist sees me as a success. Grand Mal, to generalised regularly, to lesser frequent generalised, to many partial seizures..It was so bad then over 7 years they found a mix of drugs that work. I've got a fucking prescription for weed!
These are the three silver linings of it all:
I got to spend so much time at home with my girls when they were little.
I got a disabled travel card.
I get to take weed on planes and shit. And if the police stop me in the street, the card I have gets scanned by them and I'm free to go.
Ahh good I'm glad you're doing well.
I work for the NHS (UK) and genuinely didn't know this.
Sadly we can't get prescription weed here.
Did try edibles when in California.
I have other health conditions and it did help me.
My husband did it just for fun, was high as a kite. Was so funny.
I'm in the UK and use Alternaleaf. It's not NHS prescription but my neurologist and GP gave the thumbs up before Alternaleaf would let me use them. Such good bud.
Have a look at what you're allowed to buy bud for. There is a fairly large range.
That's insane. I get dejavu of dejavu of having dejavu too often than I'd like to admit and it's trippy asf. Never mind having that connected with seizures.
Once as a kid, I was ill, then started to have an impending feeling of doom and feeling like I was witnessing everything multiple seconds into the future.
I hear you. After waking up to paramedics a few times, even a flash of deja vu can panic me now. Thankfully all well controlled now but those little glitches are occasional reminders of bad times.
Glad the guy with the lollipop said to stop!
They'd have gotten away with it if it wasn't for that meddling kid
using vehicles to fill the hole is next level
And his dog too
His body language said stop, but his sign said go! Talk about mixed messages!
He said Go at the end... I wouldn't trust him
This will be the constructor's main defense :) Just as flimsy as the road.
Not the whole time he didn't!
Stop…..Go……Stop…..Go……
Stop…..Go……Stop…..Go……
Stop...Go...Stop...Go...
It was a close call there but his sign couldn't make up its mind if it was stop or go
Looked it up, and there was one female driver in the car. She got out herself and workers threw a rope down to help her out. She was taken to hospital but was more or less ok, considering.

Good, thanks for posting this.
They didn't park there, or at least not for long!
Oh 😦 that’s a bad fall. Hope the driver is ok. Call to insurance will be interesting. You say the road just caved in? 🤨 Did the dog also eat your homework as a child?
Thankfully she is! Someone has posted a link
I wonder if the driver went: WEEEE
Yep, probably shat themselves a little too
None of this made any sense to me. That darker tarmac is clearly a new tarmac, did they lay it on top of air? Sink holes are real, but you can’t lay a new tarmac without discovering weak surface, you have those heavy tarmac roller vehicles going over it, surely it would have sank compared to light small car.
Why did he let the other cars go through? Doesn’t make any sense.
It might be over a culvert which is the main cause of sink holes - water erosion
It's very difficult to see how the erosion could have led to this so quickly (as erosion is generally a very slow process, and there is clearly pretty much nothing left under that tarmac - so how did it hold up for the laying and steamrolling of that new tarmac?)
Maybe it was those heavy tarmac rollers that created the weakness?
Feel like this is AI😑
It's real. There's different reports with more photos.
Multi level parking is wild.
That road was not baked enough in the oven. The crust was still soft. Now it's ruined. You have to make a new batter and bake it from scratch. Hopefully the oven is still warm enough!
Love Reddit for these left field comments.
Imagine explaining that to the insurance😂
There's a handy video to show insurance to be fair.
Keep the cars piling in, eventually there will be enough for other cars to drive over.
The guy panicking and holding up the go sign to the oncoming traffic ahaha
Looks as though pressing the brake pedal did nothing to stop the ground from collapsing, origami style
That driver is about to own a construction company.
If said driver is alive!
The car, which is pretty solid, only dropped 5 or 6 feet, maybe a little more. This isn't a lethal incident, but it'd certainly ruin your week.
And your underwear.
She made it
Why wasn’t the cones put down to insure a wider turn? Eventually it would nave occurred caused by cars driving straight by. Why wasn’t the entire road closed?
They didn't know about the sink hole. The crew there was handling a plumbing issue.
Shouldnt have stopped but wow
I mean the construction worker did tell her to stop, I’d probably do the same
He also hesitates when it happens as if he wants to drop the sign and run 😂😂😂
Personally I'd have headed home at that point 😂
And why did the road flip back up afterwards?
Where was this?
it happened in Singapore in July.

Holy shit, that was a lucky escape for the car videoing. Not so much for the car in front.
Imagine if you carried on when he showed Go at the end. Hole or no hole, hes telling me to go, so I shall meet my maker.

Its not AI. Its an actual event that was reported on. You can see a link to the news report in a comment higher up.
This is what happens when you fix the roads in 2 days. Do it the British way and take 6 months, Wouldn't happen then..
Loving all the “why didn’t they just drive faster” comments
Impatience is a bitch
Can't Park there mate.
AI? That house with the bright-red roof in the background looks really silly if not to say completely unnatural. And plenty of things don't make sense here.

Trial run before the corvette museum
That's a new part of road that was made too, how did the steamroller not fall through before
Too slow!
Someone else here mentioned they were using cars to fill holes. The hole must have needed that specific car because he allowed two others to pass before stopping that one. Talk about timing. The universe just sent you a message.
Can't park there.
Guy with lollipop sign ok with it until you put it in reverse. Get your arse downthere!
Just opened: underground parking
It's the black Mazda's fault
Guy with the stop/go board didn’t know whether he wanted a shit, shave or a shampoo!🤣😅
New fear unlocked
Well that was definitely unexpected. I thought the cones would be involved somehow.
They added a dimension for parallel parking....
Playdoh concrete!
That's like my worst nightmare wtf
Please tell me this is AI
it's real. it happened in Singapore in July.

The car then immediately proceeded to drive off as if nothing happened?
LOL WTF 🥺
Nah she was fine. The workers nearby fished her out before the water filled the hole.
Sauce: I was having a BBQ next door just after it happened and wondered why all the coppers were showing up.
I am sure the driver hopes that all was just AI
This comment just gave me dejavu and dejavu of having this dejavu
What the hell is happening
Deja vu³
I have epilepsy with seizures that last ten minutes

The human brain is truly a fucked up place, that sounds awful, I'm sorry
Thanks, man. It was mad. I was trying to equate it all in my head. Then I remembered the football I was watching was live. So confused. Haha.
I don't have big seizures, anymore. Lots of little partial seizures but I'd pay a subscription for those after the hell I went through initially.
Is this true? I get Deja Vu frequently. Like so intense that I have lived that exact moment before and everything about it is familiar. Is super weird
Yeah, man. It's weird as fuck. There have been loads of weird shit happen to my head and seen as though the brain controls everything, my body.

The mind is a crazy place

Take my upvote and enjoy it!
Inception
Sure I’ve heard that somewhere
Looks like AI. The worker holding the sign barely reacted.
He should have put the pedal right down to the metal
Dukes of Hazzard that shit
Should've kept going.
There's definitely something a bit off about the way everything collapses and the way the car falls.
No it's real. Multiple articles.
