When I worked manual labour jobs we would push start a flatbed tipper loaded with heavy metal what would be about 2-3 times the weight of the car in the video and I could do that alone

Also, I always notice notably ever picks up the emergency telephone / hits the emergency button when something like this happens. The railway companies can usually lock out the signals quite rapidly at those and if the train isn't too close can stop traffic.

Why do crossings not have sensors to detect obstructions? Like if there’s an unplanned/unknown obstruction on the track for more than say 5 to 10 seconds then it gets flagged and manually reviewed by an employee and if there’s an actual obstruction or issue then trains can be notified and stopped before an accident happens. I’m sure the cost of sensors and a few employees to remotely monitor would be significantly cheaper than the cost of repairing trains, damaged tracks and damaged crossings.
Maybe unpopular opinion but; cars that require driver's seatbelt to be fastened before electric the electric hand break will disengage should be banned.

Like if there’s an unplanned/unknown obstruction on the track for more than say 5 to 10 seconds then it gets flagged and manually reviewed by an employee and if there’s an actual obstruction or issue then trains can be notified and stopped before an accident happens. I’m sure the cost of sensors and a few employees to remotely monitor would be significantly cheaper than the cost of repairing trains, damaged tracks and damaged crossings.
How do people lose their goddamn minds so often at these things? It’s really not that complicated

Maybe unpopular opinion but; cars that require driver's seatbelt to be fastened before electric the electric hand break will disengage should be banned.
Honestly, people who are saying to push the car clearly have never been in such an adrenaline-filled situation. There was little to no time. Pushing requires strong hands. What if it doesn't work and the car barely moves? People will be risking their lives on the track. This was actually a perfect solution.
The only thing I hated was the people standing right behind the car. It was so dangerous, just let the jeep driver do their job while you step aside!
I feel rather stupid watching this because I can’t work out what happened. Who had parked there, and why? Where did they go? Why did no one else attempt to move the car off the tracks?
It looks like the same div who parked there didn’t think to move out of the way when it was towed. Maybe she was having some special brain fart for medical reasons. Otherwise, what a dizzy mare.

I've literally pushed a truck over a speed bump, this car is nothing brother. Also they could bumper push it also with the other car.
