Harmonic XOS encoder, OLD is the Right, NEW is the left. It's not much, but you can finally see what each cable goes to and everything is populated and labeled.
Yeah, not 100% network cabling and having to deal with this being a 24/7/365 in operation, and 60+ years of neglect, this is real cable management not the 100% new ones, that you can turn off equipment.
Thanks for the kind comment.
Looks a lot better. But it's different than network cabling so people aren't seeing it.

clearly way better
Damn, I don't know why the comments are so harsh. The left side is clearly way better managed and cleaned up than the right side.
Not sure, but thank you for your kind comment!

Way better imo. The bottom portion looks a little scuffed, but having all of the bundles running to the sides is very satisfying.
I kinda wish the "after" picture was angled up so we could see the cables above, it looks like a birdsnest in the "before" pic.
Umm- no.
What SDI capture cards are you using?
It's. Baseband SDI to ASI encoder. The cards are DecoCast and the machine is from Harmonic. Thanks for your question!
Which is which?
Nice!
Looks like shit
Yeah, your server rack needs some help. I can give you some cable management tips!
I didn’t post it in cable porn though. Take your tips to r/cablegore
