Hi, ako yung nagpost before na beginner short-form video editor/content creator for an anime commentary channel na gumagawa ng lahat from scratch: research, script, clips sourcing, and edit pero binabayaran lang ng $4 per video ng sarcastic client ko. I was able to reach yung goal nila na pagbawi sa dropping engagements ng monetized channel nila. I made 3 videos na 1 Million views each and hundred thousands for others. But finally, I decided to quit na rin sa previous client ko dahil unfair pala talaga ang treatment sa akin based sa mga redditors here. Thank you po for making me realize that. Now, I am searching po for other ways/means to look for clients kasi I got my client po before sa onlinejobs.ph and same po yung rates doon kaya I am skeptical na rin to look there. Hope you can help me out po dahil need ko po kasi talaga ng work to finance my medication. Thank you po in advance!
This is a learning experience for you, OP. Know your worth and value. $4 per video tapos ikaw lahat from scratch nakakagigil yung ganyang client. If I were you before you decide to edit for them make a contract to create boundaries. Kudos pa rin sa achievements mo na 1M views! Make a proper portofolio if wala ka pa, napakalaking tulong nyan para makakuha ng client. Good luck, OP!
build mo lang portfolio mo, mas okay if makakaland ka pa sa mga big brands, plus points yun sa potfolio.
Try vgen :D kaso baka hindi mo bet mag edit ng vtuber content... Tsaka may pagkasaturation na ang clipper or shorts editor market diyan, especially for established creators or talent agencies na guaranteed paid
Not even $4 per hour or $4 per edited minute? Napaka-gago naman niyang client mo. Dibale use the experience nalang to gain a premium client that deserves your effort and results.
Gandahan mo portfolio mo, add mo din yung mga sample ng videos mo na may 1M views, madaming kukuha sayo, OP. Know your worth, at sa bawat gagawin mo, palaging may contract. Wag kang papayag na wala. Remember, you deserve what you tolerate, kaya be wise. Just move forward, isipin mo na lang learnings yung previous clients mo. 🙂
