Got an old PJD6683ws as part of a golf sim package. It’s gonna be much better than my DJ Amazon covid purchase but I just want something decent to play GSPro and throw a game on here and there in the garage. (It’s cold in NY!)
Golf sim screen is 10wx8.5h
At 1280x800 I’m sure I’ll be happy enough but wondering if anyone else is still using one of these? Likely scouring marketplace for a pc that will easily power the projector to its max. ($500 max of budget all in)
Projectors such as the model you mentioned are pretty common with golf sims. Typically you can pickup a WXGA office proejctor for cheap and it’ll look great.
If you want to step up in lumen output and native resolution. You can consider a WUXGA projector. It has a native resolution of 1920x1200 16:10. It’s the same aspect ratio as your Projector, but the resolution is higher.
