On Firefox, uBlock Origin is all you need. Blocks ads & trackers, malware sites, remove annoyances, even bypasses paywalls if you configure it, I recommend taking a look at https://github.com/yokoffing/filterlists#guidelines for some filterlists to add but definitely import this filterlist to reduce tracking in URLs. Usually less is more with extensions if you want more privacy, as installing more extensions will make you stand out more and increase your attack surface.
You can follow this Github wiki page (Arkenfox) to see recommended extensions you should install and which ones are redundant or completely avoid. Certain container extensions are also recommended like Multi-Account Containers, Facebook Container, Temporary Containers, etc.
Also, important note. If you'd like to get a little more advanced with fingerprinting protections as well, it should be noted that with Firefox (with Arkenfox) and Mullvad, use standardized fingerprinting protection. Also known as the. "blend in with the crowd" method. uBlock origin and Noscript are the two standard plug-ins that you should be using, and no more. Anything else and you will be fingerprinted. As a matter of fact, browser, such as Mullvad come preinstalled with both uBo and Noscript.
Basically, you only need uBlock Origin. In addition to blocking trackers and ads, it allows you to set filters to remove traces from URLs. When used in advanced mode, it can function like uMatrix and NoScript
uBlock Origin is your best here. blocks ads, trackers, and malware. Don't pile on more extensions; each one increases your fingerprint and attack surface. Privacy Badger adds some tracker blocking but creates redundancy. I’d also rec layerx for extension control but it only makes sense in enterprise setups.
dude...for which browser? chromium-based browser or firefox-based...or webkit? just use ublock origin and be done with it or choose something like librewolf as a browser
Just use brave or Firefox with ublock origin.
