The amazing u/chillersandfears busy killing her promotion prep, and I wasn’t together enough to do a poll or something, so what’s everyone reading?
My bff’s birthday is coming up this month, and I wanted to make her a book related shirt or something, so I got ahold of her dh for her favorite book. So now I’m reading Space Opera by Catherynne Valente. I just started it yesterday, so if anyone wants to join me, please do!
I'm reading Who Fears Death in ebook format and listening to the audiobook of The Bone Shard Emperor. I have done the r/Fantasy bingo card for the last three years and the new one just came out a month ago so I'm trying to get a good start to that. I'm trying to branch out to other genres though because I've read little besides speculative fiction for the last three years. I might read The Girls of Atomic City (not to be confused with Atomic City Girls, which I DNF'd about a quarter of the way through) next.
Yesterday I finished book 4 in the Blood and Ash series by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Not sure what I'm gonna read next. I think a toss up between The Priory of the Orange Tree and Circe
Currently reading The Story of Psychology by Morton Hunt, it is non-fiction and like 800 pages so I’ll be doing that for a bit. I did get a series for 1.99 on the kindle app that came highly rated in another book group, The Lost Clan trilogy by Olivia Wildenstein, so that’ll be Interesting.
The Love Songs of W.E.B Du Bois. It's a long read but the writing is beautiful. I'm hooked.
Sense and Second Degree Murder in book form bc Jane Austen spin-off yes please
Listening to A Slow Fire Burning on Chirp app
