Got the audio book and listened today. Oh man, so many thoughts already.
First, I don't like any of the characters right now. They all stress me out or make me mad at them
Second, why have a 2nd kid when you admit you work too much and your husband doesn't help? And you bitch at him over everything, deserved or not. And hes not allowed to question you, ever. You need healthy communication guys!
Third, nothing about that suburban community doesn't sound shady or off in some way.
Same here! And I get the overwhelming feeling of always being the "default" parent - mom gets them ready for bed, mom gives bath, mom gives snacks, etc etc
😂 I agree! At the same time I deeply connect with feeling overwhelmed and not having to walk my partner through what I expect of them to help when parenting.
I'm not into this book as much as the others but I'm interested to see how it will go with the community so I'll keep reading it
