Oh ya I could totally see Izzy willingly joining the church just to please Grant. It was strange to read how Grant was when they first joined the church, how unsure he seemed about the whole thing ... And how far his morality seemed to have fallen in the years since.
I agree! A part of me thinks the power he got with the church and being a plastic surgeon went to his head and brought out his worst qualities.
Definitely ... But question is, was he always a horrible person deep down, or was there brainwashing/inciting incidents with the church that made him that way? It seems to come pretty naturally to him but who knows 🤷♀️
I really hope we get more background info and that the ending is wrapped up nicely - I can't handle all this ickyness without some good closure 😆
That weekend Izzy and Grant had definitely gave me all kinds of weird vibes. I kept thinking she’s definitely going to join the church, he definitely decided he made a mistake with her, she decided she made a mistake, nope she’s definitely joining the church lol It was a wild ride.
I think both Josie and Izzy have some PTSD possibly going on, but the origins and impacts are totally clear yet.
