Tbh, idk, but I feel you, it's hard having a long distance relationship, it sucks even, but, there's always hope in everything, in some shape or form, but, you could probably watch movies over video or a game of some sort
Find a book you both want to read and then take turns reading it to each other. And then discuss each bit as you go. My wife is in a nursing home and I read to her a couple of times a week. She likes my voice. She likes science so I read science fact books to her. It is a great way to get to know each other and leads to good conversations.
call. a lot. I've been in a mid-distance for 2 years and one of the best things we do all the time is call each other every day (sometimes even sleep in call). Otherwise, find new games, play more games, discord movie night, etc. Also, i found that shooting them a text during times of the day they don't expect makes them happy :)
Idk, I literally only chat with mine and I tried to watch Evangelion with him but... He is not much into anime and I am not much into games to play with him, so we chat.
