  • HUD is huge and annoying. I also prefer the placement of the health and armor down at the bottom. I would generally expect ammo on the bottom right, and health at the bottom left or middle. Edit: Just to clarify, I'm not saying "Do things the way I prefer". I'm just kind of wondering why you'd want to go against what appears to be sort of a standardized layout these days. It'll mean players have to take a little while to get used to your setup.

    That red gun seems almost useless with its crazy random spread. The shotgun animation and sound are mistimed with its actual projectiles.

    Basically everything in the new version looks like it plays so much better than before. I'm also very glad you changed how the enemies' sounds work. They were so overly loud before.

    Both, I think. It just looks like a lot of the shots that are seemingly aimed directly at enemies fly far above their heads or off to the sides.

    So remove the spread?

    Well, it's hard to say how it actually feels from just a clip, but it looks like it'd be almost useless. Maybe have the spread increase over time as the button is held, so short bursts are more accurate? If you want to do something more "unique" then maybe have it shoot in a predictable pattern, which might give it an interesting feel while still being useful.
