After seeing the trailer for this fucking movie, I am so utterly and completely, so profoundly and entirely, fucking uninterested in watching what will likely be a 3 and a half hour slog through a Hollywood bastardization of an iconic part of my childhood (I have fucking pretentious parents), full of the cleanest and most soulless fucking western actors I've seen a million times before, like a billion dollar circle jerk of Nolan's friends that will get the redditors salivating and will likely overlap with the release of another big movie because Hollywood marketing peons will be desperate to recreate the success of Barbenheimmer, which I'll likely be forced to watch so that I have enough fodder to fucking use in my campaigns of semi vitriolic arguments with yet more lowest common denominator brainrotted normies, that I'll be forced to watch win more pointless awards and pats on the back by the elites up on high deluding themselves into thinking that anyone gives a single flying fuck about any of them or their success anymore.

I prefer the stringency of Bowles to proto-Sirk Lowry but I also prefer Nabokov's intricate scalpel-carvings (in teak and ebony) to Hemingway's axe-hewn, roadside, tourist town totems.
