The organ failure is dumb. If someone eats ice cream every day, why ask them why they're eating ice cream that day? For someone with glasses, she's pretty fucking stupid
The character in the show is a cloud and her different emotions are represented by different types of clouds, like she turns into a stormy cloud when angry
These characters are from Regular Show, C.J. is a cloud girl, she turns into a rain cloud when she's upset. It's just the color this artist used was a bit off.
Hi, linguistics nerd here, here to answer your questions
The N character in Japanese (hiragana: ん, katakana: ン), is indeed the only Japanese character that is made of a single consonant. It does not have to appear word-finally, and can appear in the middle of a word (example: みんな "minna", which means everybody), however it can never appear word-initially.
For loanwords that end in T or D, the reason why "o" is used instead of "u", is because there's not native "tu" sound. In the main Japanese dialect, "tu" is pronounced "tsu", so "burasuto" is more natural than "burasutsu"
I could have sworn I saw a native speaker talking about the no ending on a consanant & no stringing 2 consanants together things, giving supuraitu (sprite) as an example. Maybe it's a regional/dialectic thing? Or else I misremembered, which also happens from time to time.
It's an oversimplification of the Japanese syllabic system. Japanese can end in a consonant and string two consonants together only if said consonant is a nasal consonant, which is represented by the N character (hiragana: ん, katakana: ン). Japanese can also have geminated consonants, that is, a repeated consonant that spans on two syllables, represented by っ/ッ, for example まって = matte
Now a note on the N character, its pronunciation actually changes depending on what's the following consonant. If it follows a bilabial consonant (p/b/m), it's gonna be pronounced "m" (ex.: "zenbu" is pronounced "zembu"), if it follows an alveolar consonant (t/d/s/sh/z) it's pronounced "n", if it follows a velar consonant (k/g), it's gonna be pronounced "ng", word-finally and otherwise, it will be pronounced kinda like "ng" but further back in your mouth.
This comic is hilarious, and the art is great. I don't know why you're getting downvoted.
Even if you like Biden, what he said was dumb. This isn't really political beyond making fun of politicians for being out-of-touch. If this was the only comic I saw, I wouldn't assume to know the artist's political leanings.
It's a fair comic, really solid... but it's laden with the fact that the rest of the artists comics are terrible. As in bigoted, bad faith arguments and false equivalencies.
AFAIK, they're a right wing artist. Which means the only comics of his that get approval here are when the left wing subject in question is really worthy of mockery.
See: this comic, and the one he made about Hasan's dog

Maybe she was eating ice cream earlier than usual
Maybe I was going to say something snarky until I saw your username and it won me over
Lmao it's brilliant
seeing you here feels like finding a shiny legendary
I think the people downvoting you don't know I'm popular in a pokemon sub 😅
Yeah, she should’ve said “why are you eating ice cream again”
if the glasses give an intelligence boost, imagine how cooked she is without them
Maybe she's a toddler who happens to be very tall
It's also a dumb thing to ask someone why they're eating a specific food, they probably just.. wanted to eat it??
Why in the fuck does she turn brown?
The character in the show is a cloud and her different emotions are represented by different types of clouds, like she turns into a stormy cloud when angry
Never seen a brown cloud.
It heralds a shitstorm
Maybe the emotion is smog related?
These characters are from Regular Show, C.J. is a cloud girl, she turns into a rain cloud when she's upset. It's just the color this artist used was a bit off.
who even asks why someone else is eating ice cream?
Whatcha readin’ for?
me when i eat the ice cream that turns you brown
vro forgot that the material condition is not inversible
Isn't this just a copy of an older comic.

Which was itself a parody of an actual Joe Biden quote.
Damn, I kinda wanna hear it.

Shouldn't it be Bidenu Burastu?
Ironically, in both of those cases you'd be wrong.
There is a character for ending a word with N. It's the only consonant sound that can end in a word in Japanese as far as I'm aware. I don't know why.
Also for loanwords that end in T or D, the vowel sound o is used in place of u. Again, I don't know why.
So the katakana that's in that panel actually says "Baiden Burasuto"

The katakana says Baiden Burasto so not quite
I didn't make it 🤷♂️
His only legitimately funny comic.

I like the art style
The one good right wing comic
Still aged like wine seeing magas whine everywhere online regretting voting for trump
The one good comic that artist ever made, which is a shame
This comic is hilarious, and the art is great. I don't know why you're getting downvoted.

So he is an asshole. Got it
It's a little funny to see Biden be called a 'left wing' subject
Oh good sir, i got the reference immediately. This panel lives rent-free in my head.

what a liar, that mfer wasn’t afraid
I feel mildly responsible for this, and I dig it.
I thought she had a fat hairy man stomach.
Too bad I have no idea who this artist is.
why even is the origin in regular show characters
Oligarchy?
No origami, no upvote
It's the top comment, atleast for me
