It was like a Chris Cunningham/Aphex Twin style parody of AI slop. I woke up before getting to figure out if it was any good or not. God I hope that man is making something right now.

  • I hope he is, but he probably isnt

Well...I'm sure hes making something. Whether or not we ever get to see it is a different question.

definitely, once a artist always a artist ig, but we probably wont release anything officially.

  • I have this feeling when we get something from him again it will be another film like Eighth Grade, probably not another special or tour. Inside and the Outtakes really felt like the culmination of all the themes he’d been exploring throughout his career as a stand up performance artist. But who knows!

  • in a few years im gonna cime back to this comment and see that their prediction was right.i really hope.

  • I love that title because you can read so many different meanings into it. Artificial Intelligence, obviously, both LLMs and hypothetical AGI. But then it's also the Japanese word for love. And it sounds like "I" which is in line with Bo's more solipsistic themes. Also makes me think of the short story title (I haven't actually read it) "The Beast that shouted Love at the Heart of the World." Like Bo shouting "I" from the depths of the Room.

I think my subconscious is hoping for something genuine made with integrity to emerge from all the meanigless dead slop, thats everywhere now, and almost indistinguishable from real human made art. Art is ACTUALLY dead now. COME BACK BO AND PUT THIS EXISTENTIAL HORROR SHOW INTO A FORMAT I CAN EMOTIONALLY PROCESS.

    "Pray for me"

Haha i never interpreted that line like that before
