To be fair to him I also find this post almost frustrating.
You went through 150 levels, have the chikage and don’t know what weapon to use? There’s like three options with this heavy of a bloodtinge skill build and after 150 levels you should probably know them. What have they been using to get this far?
Bit of a personal annoyance people can post whatever but tell me they couldn’t have gone to google and put in bloodtinge skill weapons and their problem wouldn’t have been solved in seconds.
Then the answer to your question would be which is more fun for you to use. There’s no need to min max and ask on Reddit if the numbers are close one is dual knives the other is a katana which do you like more?
Otherwise just look up bloodtinge skill weapons on google and find which one you like.
No need to say sorry it’s not that kind of frustrated even though I did say annoyed it’s more the what’s the point of a post kind when google is right there.
sisyphus woulda spent his days in r/new battling the endless tide of easily googleable questions, there’s no winning man. you’re valid here but i think some people just seek shallow human interaction over using a glorified calculator. this guy probs was just more interested in discussion than he was an answer
Reiterpallasch is a rapier unblade which is beyond fun and Simon’s Bowblade is another really nice Skill and Bloodtinge weapon
If you run Reiter then you can use the other off hand weapons as well for instance the two
Shields. The wooden one nullifies blood damage and the Loche shield does the same for arcane ❤️
Chikage, Bowblade, or Reiterpallash. They're all skill bloodtinge weapons that scale well with your stats. Bloodletter and any skill weapons would also work well.
The Rakuyo would also be an excellent choice because it scales so well with skill
Unlike the three you mentioned tho it's a pain in the ass to get, those two Shark giants will always be a pain no matter how many times I replay Bloodborne
In a well in the dlc in the area of fishing hamlet, with two of the big fish guys. The second one that drops Rakuyo, only drops from the ceiling when the first reaches half health. The first one also runs away to regroup with the second when it drops, so you can’t really burst the first guy down. Ngl hardest part of the whole dlc, not any of the bosses or other areas or the rest of fishing hamlet, just this well. However using shaman blade makes it pretty easy
I think that by far the best content of the game is in the DLC. The Rakuyo is among the 4 hardest weapons in the entire DLC to get. I'd argue that it's among the 2 hardest weapons in the entire DLC to get (provided you know where to look for the other weapons). I personally think that unless Depth 5 Pthumeru has some outstanding bosses, there is only a single boss that might outshine the best 3 of the 4 bosses in the DLC.
Well, that sucks. I was hoping that with Depth 5 Isz not being particularly great, Depth 4 and 5 Loran not being that great, and depths 1-4 Pthumeru not being great, that Depth 5 Pthumeru, what seems to be the climax to all the preset chalice's, would be great.
Chalices suck from beginning to end. Especially that goddamn Defiled Amygdala, I've been there for like 50 attempts over the course of multiple days. Such a miserable experience
Same here. I'm stuck on Loran Darkbeast, Defiled Amygdala, and Depth 5 Isz Ebrieatas. Yet it was less infuriating to go to NG+ to get some more trophies for endings, and I'm presently at NG+2 The One Reborn. I'm dreading having to complete the Chalice's soon.
chikage is a bloodtinge+skill weapon. you get it after completing cainhurst
Alr I have it already
Then wtf are you confused about what weapon you should use?
What if I wasent too sure?😭
No need to be a condescending asshole…

Im sorry but at one point the blades of mercy did more dmg than my Chikage so thats why I made this post

Alr
It’s should be pretty obvious at that point in the game to know what weapon to use

Bowblade bowblade bowblade bowblade BOWBLADE!
Simon's bowblade
Ebrietas and Amygdala quiver in fear of it's name
have mercy on the poor bastards
Looks like Chikage build. Just need some runes on blood damage for it and you’re good to go I think
Wrong. Tempering gems improve it's physical and blood damage at the same time, so why bother with gems that only increase it's blood damage?
True. Don’t know why someone downvoted you.
Try the Bow blade mate.
Pimp cane always 😎

Bloodletter
Honestly fist of gratia
Church pic
Kos parasite
😅
With skill like that, maybe go with Rakuyo. Maybe Blades of Mercy, but I haven't used that much, so I can't say.

It's not that bad! Just be sure you have a high vitality stat...
How

Well damn lol I don't have the dlc yet. Lol

Depth 5 pthumeru only has the pthumerian descendant, bloodletting beast and yharnam. All three are mid bosses, if not subpar

Chikage, Bow Blade
something that uses Skill, or Skill and Bloodtinge
beasthunter saif
Bloodletter, but stick to its transformed state
Chikage but use it in the transformed state. You'll absolutely steamroll everything.
Chikage
Geez. I wonder what weapon scales well with Skill and Bloodtinge at the same time? 🤔
