I don't understand why exes cannot still be friends with each other after divorce. I mean unless their was abuse, affairs, or just some fucked up shit in the marriage, at one point you two loved each other and/or produced a child(ren) together.
Um being divorced is a broken home sir. Doing a couple of dances and jigs isn't making up for that...imagine the sign that tells your children...your father/mother and the type of person they were wasn't enough to stay in the long haul for.

So, your point about being young and falling out...is a terrible terrible excuse to break apart a family lmaooo. If you're willing to have fun with the other in "interest" of the kids...why not stay together? Once again, I doubt the individuals doing their jigs, dances, and having fun with each other spent years of abusing each other....so why did they fall out and couldn't stay strong and show their children how a man and woman can stay together through their hardships.

Even though divorce does often have negative ramifications on the children involved, it's still important to model and display mature and respectful behavior towards each other, as an example of how to treat relationships that didn't work for whatever reason, but still have to be at least on speaking terms due to shared children.
