• Switches packet at 2.25. Opens a different leaf of the book.

Yea no shit, that doesn’t explain the trick

    The trick is called Ricochet.

  • Card Magic definitely takes a lot of skills. Always amazed how they come up with this stuff.

  • Rada!

Suerte capo!

    esta usando imanes

  • Magnets

the only magnet involved (maybe) is holding the fake page in place in the book.

the cards appearing is done with nylon fishing thread. I have an exact trick that has the thread running through the middle of the cards so when tightened it pushes out any cards in between.

Unless physics changed and magnets now have 4 poles, these cards aren’t spreading out 1 by 1 and into 4 different directions with a magnet

At 34sec you can also see the mirrors

You beat me too it. Magnets .... lol

    How do they work?

  • What's going on with that woman on the sofa?

Idk but I want to talk about her sleeves.

    That's what I mean,bloody mental

    Kingpin’s sister?

  • Double lift.

  • This is the same trick as Ricky Jay’s 4 queens, with a false page in the book and magnet to hold it closed at the end and magicians thread for the spread. His false counts are really good, but he flashed the copied page.

  • Good bit of math actually goes into this one too

    nope that’s a different trick

The Four Queens trick relies on modular arithmetic and cyclic permutations to maintain the relative positions of the cards during cuts. When you bury the Queens in this case acea , you are actually shifting their index within a set deck order rather than truly randomizing them. Try agin

Zero math is used for this particular effect

that totally not this trick though.

deck has 7 aces and when he grips the 4 aces he pulls 3 additional ones that he puts behind the ace of spades. he does a double lift to deal with the others decks.

the booklet is rigged with a hidden page and the rubber band is printed on and for misdirection.

the final trick is done with fish wire.

i am very much aware of the trick you are referring to and it’s not this one. That trick is done with splitting, rearranging decks, counting down cards etc.

the first part of the trick is pure sleight of hand and misdirection.

the middle is a gimmick and so it the final part

  • With the second and third packets you can catch a corner or flash as he hides the card under his wrist.

  • 2:25 why did he close it?

because there are 2 pages, you can see it accidentally opens momentarily, an empty envelope is sitting there to be put in the glass

  • sorry for my english but I'll try my best

    1. while placing the cards on the ace of spades he drops the aces from his hand, keeping the three "random" cards from the deck in his hand. these three cards are printed on both sides - on one side an ace and on the other side a random card. you can see it when he places the cards he flips his hand unnaturally.

    2. from there he "just flips" the ace. first ace is a double lift. second is almost the same he hides it under a second card. if you count the cards you'll notice. on the third he's just turning the ace underneath the other cards.

    3. third trick is explained below. he closes and opens the book on diffrent pages. paper is a empty magic paper which leaves no ashes when burned.

    4. the last trick I don't really know but my guess would be magic strings. small invisible strings placed in between the aces. you can look up toturials on youtube.

    hope that helps

    • 7 aces in the deck,

    • when he grips the aces weirdly he pulls 3 additional aces from the deck

    • in the deal ensures they end up under the ace of spades

    • in the reveal he hides the surplus ace under each deck by double flipping the card

    • in the book the rubberband is supposed to work as misdirection. he accidentally shows the mechanism but powers through. you can see the secret page open slightly on the left side and a rubber band neatly tight on the second page. under that page is a prepared empty envelope

    • he quickly closes and opens the book after placing the cards which reveals the empty envelope. you can clearly see that the page on the right changes patterns before and after closing the book

    • the writing has absolutely no relevance and is more misdirection

    • he burns the empty envelope

    • not sure exactly when he switches the deck, but he switches to a prepared deck with fishwhire wrapped a certain way, he seems to pull the thread by coiling it in his mouth, but could be somewhere else out of shot

  • She ate them

  • Is the answer “sleight of hand?”

  • This one I can say…..magnets….

  • MacDonald aces basically.

  • Either the mat or his sleeves, that's it

neither, end of the trick is fish line

  • Darwin Ortiz

Don't know why I got downvoted for this. He made this (or at least a version of it)
